AutoCAD is a computer Aided Drafting and Design software

OK. This was a very very long way you showed! There is a much quicker way to extract plans, section and elevations from a 3D file in AutoCAD. This feature has been introduced in release 2013 and can be found when you activate a Layout. When clicking on a layout you will see that a tab Layout will appear above the Ribbon, in there you have the option SECTION, PROJECTED and BASE. Another option would be creating a Section Plane using Live Section.

iFFYtjuh Thanks for your feed back . The purpose of this tutorial is not to create Plan , Section and Elevation from a 3D model , but to create a 3D model using the Plan , Section and Elevation drawings (which are prepared already using AutoCAD drawing and editing commands) as references .....

hi sir i am new to auto cad, by seeing your tutorials i am learning the autocad, actually when i am trying to draw the extrude, the whole design is turning to lot of grids like parallel lines can you give the suggestion????????/ before i am able to draw this bt now only it has changed. and i am not profitient at ucs coordinates

Siva prasanna It is not the problem with UCS . It is because your polyline is closed . So you can make another polyline on the top of existing one . start from the first point and pick rest of the points and give CLOSE option to get out of the command . This will give you a closed profile which can be readily extruded . Sorry for the delayed replay ....
