Got mine 3 weeks ago along with the Saber Clippers because of this channel. They're both quiet. 60 decibel. My son is autistic and he freaks out bad getting near the perinatal ridge and ears that someone has to restrain him. (Myself or my ex wife... which leads me to cutting hair with one hand typically.) He's coming around to clipper doing the crown himself though. He's 5. I HATE THE PEANUT. BIGGEST WASTE OF $90 at Sallys I have spent. Loud. Garbage. Selling them. Been doing self fades and touch ups in the 3 way mirror to myself in front of him to desensetize him and the lines are sharp! Loving it. I even shave with it too. He's been picking it up and playing with it a little.

Just ordered these a week or so ago. My Andis Slimline Pro Li trimmers are working fine for general edging, but I have a second pair with the t-blade for balding out fades and tapers and it just doesn't have enough power to deal with thicker hair which forces me to "pre-trim" the hair so I can follow with the SlimLine and bald it out. Lately, the SlimLine will jam on thick hair and be rendered useless until I take is apart and reassemble the blade. Even after that it still misses hair. Needless to say, I *_CAN'T Wait_* for my Sabers!

My Gold FX hit harder than my Sabers. Both are zero gapped, even when I move the blade back the Saber still bite no such issue with the Gold FX.

Correction...when comparing the saber to the gold fx it is quieter, it does have a longer battery life. You could even say it debulks as good if not slightly better, but what you not gonna sit here and say with a straight face is that it's harder hitting. It's not, if you want to say it hits as good I'll accept it but I don't really even agree there. The only trimmer that hits harder is the fx3 and I'd say it hits too much lol. To this day there's no trimmer (cordless or corded) that, for me at least, hits like that gold fx blade.

I have the black and it WAS the ultimate trimmer so sharp so clean so crisp…..2 weeks in I dropped them doing a taper. ….a few weeks later I buy the original replacement blade and cutting blade. I zero gap it using the tool, customers and my arm are getting “bit” if I don’t have it zero gapped it’s not cutting crisp???? Anyone?

Same! They cut sharp that first few times after opening brand new but after I used a few times they stopped cutting crisp.

Hey Eddie I hope you see this but I need help. I have the Gold Sabers, I love them but I'm having an issue with them pulling hair. When I try to bald out my clients with them, I get nervous because I notice that they always pull. I have no problem doing my line ups with them but any movement with cutting hair in an upward motion it'll pull. Do you know how to fix this? I bought a new blade and I'm still having the same issue 💀

I would send them back or maybe try the smaller xpro blade I was floored by that one even more than the stock blade it’s like the slimline blade I bet that would solve it

Trimmers don’t always come with guards, the saber trimmer might have guards on their website I remember doing the prototypes for them. If you are looking to trim down here, you might be better off looking for a Clipper you can check out the protégé Clipper it’s very inexpensive and will do the job.
