Hey saberspark. I do sound design for a living. The ‘metallic’ sound is due to a heavy amount of noise reduction. Likely they recorded his audio in a noisy environment and their attempts to fix it resulted in it sounding almost underwater. 7:55 that police man is actually a well known and loved comedian in Scotland especially Glasgow. He and his partner (not the other police man) both made an amazing comedy called still game which is about 2 old men who are best friends living in Glasgow. Almost all of the episodes are fantastic and incredibly well written and show exactly what some of the worse parts of Glasgow can be in a light hearted and well thought way. Almost everyone in Glasgow was talking about it up until it ended a while back.
