YES. Lea is the best match I've heard for Sabine's voice so far. I like Marianne Crebassa's voice, but the timbre is so different; it doesn't blend well with Sabine's.

As a bass in a choir, I have to disagree. Handel's choral music feels like it's a violin quartet set to voices - he seems almost obsessed with melisma and often incorporates awkward melodic jumps. It doesn't seem like very skilled writing for voices. Mozart's music is far better to sing in my experience.

@@wolftruong2413 Handel is rated as the greatest master for for his flexibility in choral technique. Mozart`s writing is blocky in comparison and predictable.

Personally I like Mozart's predictable style because it 'makes sense' to me as a singer - it's always really clear where he's going and it's seems to me that he considered the practical nature of the human voices. I find Handel's music much more difficult to sing because it's quite brutal. I still like Handel's choral music, of course, and the effect can be great when performed well. I just personally prefer to sing Mozart's.

​@@laisselimacp I see where you're coming from (especially seeing how toxic the opera fandom is) but there is noone I know of that sings with such a lightness and femininity to their voice. In my opinion, these days only singers who offer a unique flavor and character to their voice manage to get to the levels of hype we see with Sabine. So yes, it's not a competition, but in actuality it is, because they are all competing for record deals, agencies and roles in high profile operas.

Amazing voices !! The best duet I've ever heard in my life. Händel was a genius. He knew how to compose for voice like no other. I have listened to other faster versions of this duet and they are also excellent.
