@@quervo151 Not disagreeing about the animation style. I really preferred the sharper style myself, but to be fair it was the creator themself that fired the old animation company. That person didn't like what the company had done with the story or the animation style as they wanted to manga style (softer/rounder faces). However, they looked past that up until the company changed the story for the 3rd season, I think anyways. Anyways, that's why the new animation company used the manga style for the animations and retconned pretty much the last half of the previous season.

Like azazel said, issei technique (dress break, pailingual, etc) are like a joke but terrifying in practice. Sure it's comedic, but not only is it unexpected but it's hard if not outright impossible to counter for most of his (mostly female) opponent. I can agree though for the powerup requiring breast like when he achieves balance breaker or trianna. That kinda ruin the mood a little, well it does diffuse the situation from going too serious though.

What really hit home was the scene where he's just calling to Asia and talking about how they'll win the school's sports stuff. Everyone crying amplified the scene, but Issei just sounding *broken* was what did it for me. Needless to say, I was in full support of his rampage. I don't fault him for going berserk.
