The theory behind the Sabre wing was to have a wing that would not only perform well with low lift, but also penetrate well into the wind, achieving extremely low drag and thermal efficiency.
With the new release of the thin but powerful KST X06 which was released during the design phase, were able to get a thin enough wing with a direct drive servo for the flaperon. With only two servos in the fuselage to control the elevator and rudder direction this made it possible to create a thinner fuselage. Tail surfaces are driven by pull strings and springs.

Just built one of these in the uk, have fun with the build 😅, keep the cg most forward of the recommended position, 2cell 450mah climbs like a homesick angel! About 5 climb outs to 100m on that size lipo.

I might just belong to the "older guys that can't throw" class. New to DLGs, so is this a good way to go? If I choose to try my old body at hand launch, would a F5K like this work just as well without using the motor? Or should I start with a cheaper foam DLG to get into this sport? Last question: what do you think of the Auri?

Yeah this seem like a good model for me I am not an old guy (57 aint old) but some years ago I had a motorcycle accident in which I broke 9 out of the 24 vertabrae that you can move, so Im sorry but DLG seems a little too 'athletic' for me. Does anyone sell these things in Australia? Also Its from the Ukraine huh?? Can you get it with an optional 'T90' kit that takes out russian tanks??
