one of the best qawwali of Ghulam Farid Sabri and assemble. Listen the voice of Ghulam Farid, full of passion, power, classical harmony, "sur" and "utaar charhao", he is at his peak, while Maqbool although great but missed some "surrs". As the time passed, Maqbool would become more and more musical and strong in his voice, and Ghulam Farid in his 90's cant even sing in surr. And Maqbool when became more and more aged, lost beauty and harmony in his voice. They should have retired when their peak started decline. Ghulam Farid and Maqbool were the GREATEST qawwals, and when talking about surr and harmony, no one even been able to touch their height, not even Nusrat Fateh Ali, and Bahuddin. Most of their beautiful qawwalis were ruined by bad recording and improper placement of microphones, as Maqbool tend to drag the mic very close to his mouth. May Allah bless on them.

Seeking Yu...they sang till they could and as public still wanted them to perform.We are Sabri brethren followers from Southern hemisphere and we always looked forward when they toured our country over a span of over 4 live tours.I watched their live TV channel live performances in Pakistan and I did not see Maqbool Saab touch the microphone.....as for surr and voice ...that will fade with age...thats acceptable... To wrap it ...we still maintain they were the greatest in the quawali fraternity, conquered the quawali arena, toured almost every continent, followed by millions of dire heart fans from different nationalities, cultures and religious denominations. Long live the legacy of the SABRI BRETHERN. ....long live. .... 🇵🇰✋🌍🎶🎤🎤🎹🎹🥁🎸🪕🎻🕯📚📖🕌☪️🌹❤
