I remember this episode! This was part of a TGIF crossover special where Salem visits all the different shows (Boy Meets World, Teen Angel, You Wish!) and sends the characters in each show back to various decades. There's also apparently two different endings for this episode of Sabrina. The one that is generally shown in syndication has Salem coming home and giving the time ball back in his litter box, while the other shows him hitchhiking to Philadelphia for the "Boy Meets World" portion of the crossover.

Outside of media, the '90s have already had their resurgence in fashion and the '80s are happening right now, as you've said. "Harvey doesn’t care about college, but he’s a man?" You think that all men in the '60s wanted to go to college? "The aunts can apparently own a house and can support Sabrina, yet they’re oppressed?" They've owned property for centuries since they had the money for it. Financially supporting Sabrina is easy after that. It was uncommon for women to own property back then, but hardly unheard of.
