I'm sad to hear this news...I just searched delerio and noticed I had seen it a while back and subscribed then, so I looked her up on Facebook and seen memorial. While listening to her performance of this piece it worked a bit of a number on me... Especially with everything else going on around the world and in my own life! I'm so sorry!

Perfect. Could not get any better than this. The tempo is relaxed and the beautiful melody sings out above the accompaniment , bringing tears to the eyes. I have never heard anyone play this piece anywhere near as well as her. I would say she nailed it spot on.

Beautiful tremolo. Bet that took some practice. To achieve that balance between fingers and thumb and also the ability to speed up the tremolo and slow it down, never mind the dynamics is no mean feat and she's managed it all admirably. Amazing.

POdéis encontrar las partituras originales de Cano eb minhateca.com.br/gssilva81/Documentos/Biblioteca+Nacional+de+Espanha y también en bdh.bne.es/bnesearch/Search.do? El Delirio forma parte del 2º álbum de seis composiciones para guitarra (edición de 1869), que podéis bajar directamente desde bdh-rd.bne.es/viewer.vm?id=0000072223&page=1 POdréis decubrir que el trémolo es un trémolo primitivo y pionero en la época (una de los méritos de Cano) de dos notas, no de tres como hacen todos los intérpretes equivocadamente, o que el compás y acorde final tampoco corresponde a los finales habituales (son sólo dos cuerdas al aire: sexta en re y cuarta (la octava) Veréis que las indicaciones de estilo y dinámica precisas tampoco son respetadas generalmente....

Sobran corcheas en el último tresillo (por cierto, el trémolo original de Cano es sólo de tres notas, no de cuatro, como se suele ver), y la conclusión son sólo dos negras al unísono (suelen meterse acordes, incluso varios a modo de coda que no sé de dónde salen) Teniendo un valor de negra y el resto del compás una ristra de silencios de corchea y negra hasta el final (es decir, el compás completo), seguramente lo que querría Cano es un final piano (¿la calma tras el delirio y agitación?) y más bien abrupto... y, quizá, no dar señales de que se ha concluido hasta llegar mentalmente al final del compás. Tomo como referencia la edición original que se conserva en la Biblioteca Nacional de Madrid incluida en un álbum, si no recuerdo mal, de seis piezas. Además, Cano tuvo la prevención de dar bastantes indicaciones como para pensar que el final de la partitura original debe respetarse. Imagino que un levísimo rallentando y una conclusión de negra con punto a lo sumo y piano (y quizá vaporoso), es lo que toca. En fin, lo dejo abierto para que cada uno decida. Eso sí, hay dos cosas que van a misa: el trémolo de tres notas, no de cuatro, y el final, sin acordes añadidos ni rubatos. Fuera de eso, la interpretación y sensibilidad de esta muchacha son excelentes. Saludos
