@charlesjay8818Ай бұрын
Freddie was short as hell, Sasha is tall as hell, not the best fit
@ALaughingManАй бұрын
@charlesjay8818 Yeah, thats true, but does not make Sasha a bad fit. Its a film bud, and on camera Sasha looks the same size (note I said size) as Freddy. (Camera trickery can do lots of things.) I have a hard time describing what I am about to say, so please entertain me. On camera, some men don't look short, Tom Cruise is an example. I met him twice when I was 12ish in my hometown in NZ. Man was shorter than me! At 12! Tiny, tiny little man! Well, I believe this effect has happened with me in regards to Freddy Murcury hahah. I know he was average height, not at all short, but my mind has trouble accepting that.
@charlesjay8818Ай бұрын
@@ALaughingMan he definitly has the same face structure with the mustache
@m.dewylde5287Ай бұрын
Not one bit of physical resemblance. Freddie (not Freddy) was short with great muscle definition. Sasha is very tall and very skinny with no muscles showing. Freddie's skull was round with a strong but short jaw. Sasha has an ovoid, elongated cranium with a gigantic jaw. Freddie was an incredible dancer and Remi has the body that looked great when dancing. Nobody would enjoy a dancing skeleton. Lastly, why use "camera trickery", as you call it, when you have Rami who only needed a teeth prosthetic? The only thing Sasha has going is his eyes. Remi's eyes are not at all like Freddie's.
@ALaughingManАй бұрын
@m.dewylde5287 Thanks for catching the spelling on Freddie, h9nestly can't believe I goofed that up! But come on, I think you’re being a bit pedantic here. I would have to disagree with you. Sasha looks more like Freddie than Rami by a long shot! Physical resemblance is just part of it, but what matters more is the energy and vibe. And honestly, Sasha can do the Freddie face! He actually looks more similar to Freddie than Rami does in a lot of ways. Don’t get me wrong, Rami was brilliant and I am not knocking him, but I still think Sasha could’ve done a fantastically great job bringing Freddie’s spirit to life. Acting’s more about capturing the soul of the person than just matching the look, but Sasha could have done it with both with style, and grace. Nonetheless, that’s just my opinion, and you’ve got yours. Even though we don’t see eye to eye, I respect the points you are trying to make.
