Hindi commentary was already there before 2007. DD national always had 15 minutes switching between hindi and english commentary.

I’ve followed this guy after the NPL issue . He looked decent during those days for exposing the CAN activities related to NPL. But after a while, during his commentary I felt he is so biased on players, he can definitely have his favorite player but when he is in a commentary panel, he should not be so one sided to a team! Even if Nepal plays to other team, he should equally give the credit to the opponent teams talent. Other thing I noticed is he is so unwilling to even utter the name of Sandeep Lamichhane even though his co-commentator Andrew was praising the talent leg spinner has even though he was facing all those charges!! In the recent days, he is actively promoting Nepali Congress especially Gagan thapa and he’ve been using very lower level words to Rabi Lamichhane in the current issue. Just wanted to let the Ghimire dai know, your podcast deserves better personality than this face!!
