Beale shouldnt have been anywhere near Sunderland in the first place. He was a terrible choice and doesnt do himself any favours at all. Nothing personal but thank god hes gone.

I’m not a Mackem, in fact I’m a Manchester City fan (not a newcomer), but I take a lot of interest in the championship and SPL. Appreciate he did poorly at Rangers but didn’t he do very well with the other Rangers of the Queens Park variety? I recall him having them getting really good results with a team that had no business getting results. Not saying that justifies a move to a club like Sunderland, who really should be a premier league club if you base it on gates and the pull of the club, but it wasn’t a ridiculous appointment, was it, even if it went very wrong?
