The iconic text book example of the anti-hero is an "errant" individual who's stocks can pivot in an instant from unemployable pariah to un-sackable priority pick especially if it's life & death brutal affair of mortal hand to hand combat in the WW1 trenches, coping to survive all the extremes of mental stress & myriad physical threat of death & major injury would be a hell of a lot more likely if one could take comfort in knowing the uniform defence ranks were well stocked by a brave warrior class of alpha men with leadership & solid ethical compeyentcy such like exhibit A:- the much respected general of the gladitorial AFL batttle field........,, MrJason Akermanis !!

Do you think Akermanis realises he's essentially got a fundamental personality flaw in that he's all about him. Incredibly self centred, we saw his true colours on SAS Australia. He was a good footy player, no doubt, but it goes to show doesn't matter how good you are, if you're not a team player in a team sport, it makes more sense to get rid of you.

Have always liked this bloke..bought him in a Calcutta the year he won the Brownlow(does that make me a good judge) Has a brain..speaks well..measured..spade is a spade..doesn't suffer wokerites..for which he is demonized. Power to you my friend. Would back you every day of the week.
