I'm from LA. There are NO cons moving to Sac, for me. Lived out here from 2012-15. Should've never left. Just got back 2 months ago. One of the best decisions I ever made.

Thank you I needed a comment from a la native 😭 I see a lot of locals to sac complain but I don’t see how it can be any worse than LA
@Moshuun2 ай бұрын
@@BreannaPerkins-y9r man, it’s not. If you can keep making your LA income, you’ll feel rich out here!
@livinginsacramentosuburbs2 ай бұрын
@BreannaPerkins-y9r Danny is from LA & I lived there during college! Sac definitely isn't worse than LA. We always tell people, it depends where you are coming from. Locals may complain as things have changed, but those coming from Bay Area & SoCal can truly appreciate the higher quality of life you can have here for much cheaper. Like @Moshuun said, if you can bring your LA income then you are really set!

I’m a single dude, early 40’s living down in Burbank. I have a potential job opportunity popping up around the Sacramento. Is there a life for single dudes out there or is it all family oriented? I’m cool with slower pace, just don’t want to be bored to death. Thanks
@livinginsacramentosuburbsАй бұрын
@hiketyson you'd be fine! Definitely won't be bored, so much to do here. What type of stuff do you like to do lifestyle wise in Burbank?

Would you speak about diversity in each area. When in EDH and GB, I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb.
@livinginsacramentosuburbs2 ай бұрын
@iheems9 we can definitely share sources on how to get a better feel for diversity in each area. As Realtors we aren't allowed to steer people, so we have to be careful in what we say & it's a subjective topic. If clients ask us for something specific we are allowed to guide them in more detail, so feel free to reach out to us directly 916-800-4022 or book a zoom call with us to chat. EDH & GB are definitely less diverse. www.SacSuburbs.com

Older Natomas big yards great people
@livinginsacramentosuburbs3 ай бұрын
@RunW-TheBigDogs the biggest advantage to older homes are those yards! What are the cross streets to the area you like? My mother-in-law/teammate lives off Arena in an established area & has a great size backyard & easy access to all Sac has to offer .

Moved to Roseville from the bay. I love it here. Roseville, Folsom, rocklin, el dorado, all nice, clean, pretty safe. South sac, north highland is ghetto and not safe at all.

@dabaydestrian437 we have a lot of clients from the Bay who have all loved it once they move here. So many great suburbs to move too!

I want to move back to the Bay. My kids are grown and im divorced. Cant beat the Bay Culture. Prefer Berkeley.
@livinginsacramentosuburbs2 ай бұрын
@georgegreen455 the Bay is definitely easier to live in as a single person without kids. But we still have people paying over $3k a month for a 1 bedroom apartment there, so affordability remains the key issue. With so many people moving from the Bay Area to Sacramento you can definitely find areas that are more culturally diverse within the Sacramento region.

Sac is not a good city 🌃. Too much homelessness and very racccist people. I could never live there again. Although I do miss the fried lobster 🦞 from Skips 😋
@livinginsacramentosuburbs3 ай бұрын
@charlita25 where do you live now? We personally haven't experienced racism like that, as Sacramento is such a melting pot, but of course there are many different areas within Sac so there could definitely be variances in everyones experiences. We also see less of the homelessness in the suburbs, and far less in Sacramento when comparing to the Bay Area or Los Angeles, so just comes down to what you compare to.

Sacramento is one of the least racist places in the world. We have a global community of every kind of people here.

@thomassnew1053 all perspective, home prices have rose everywhere the last few years. It's still one of the most affordable places to live in California for those to wish to stay in Cali.
