Now that we’ve seen the outcome in the Johnny Depp defamation trial, I’d like to hear the other side of this story. Especially from the staff at that school.

I hope that this finally gets the school district to address the systemic racism that has pervaded for generations. Unfortunately taxpayers will need to pay the price but until the system changes, racism will continue to be a costly blight on our society. Our children, and future generations deserve better. We need more, not less POC role models to inspire our youth.
