I'm still crossing my fingers for THQ Nordic to make sacred 2 remaster with HD graphics, community patch included and the ice and blood dlc aswell. Especially hoping this for new gen consoles.

That'd be cool. THQ Nordic seem to want to capitalise on their IPs so many we'll see something down the line.

@@irondinos hopefully in the next year or two we will hear something about a sacred 2 remaster in the works for new gen consoles. THQ Nordic are well known for remastering old games.

I just picked the physical of this up for the equivalent of 5 GBP and am loving it. I had the PS3 version in my wishlist for ages, but now that I moved to Series X it was a no brainer to pick up. No need to bust out the PS3 to play this :)

This is one of my top favourute games that I know, and I got GOLD version so I got Ice and Blood as well which I thoroughly enjoy and so watching videos like this makes me appreciate the game more. Is this worth playing in the 2020's? Oh YES it is. Very Good Graphics, good setup, characters, you can do so much, develop all forms of strategies, like dedicated merchant, or Blacksmith, or any of the other skillsets that you can do. For me at least, it has GREAT replay value. I always love to hear others on their views of this game, if they like it, what they did and didn't like about it. This is just plain and simple Classic!

I'm addicted to this game. There is a ton of sidequests. I havent even gotten to the main quests.

Yeah it is a very good game that I often go back to. There is side quests galore in this one , hours of fun . 🙂

I would also recommend you to try out Sacred 1, it is way shorter, it is also open world, but it is not as huge, and in terms of game mechanics, stats and loot it is way easier for a new player to understand.

this is my favorite game of all time . i was so addicted to it as a kid to the point that my dad broke it and throwed it in the trash . ive been looking for it for a long time and i finaly found it yesterday . god i cannot explain how happy i am

I played the hell out of sacred back on windows XP, very disappointed it wasn't supported later on for widescreen play.

Same here and then when I had a Win 7 and widescreen it worked. Did have some issues with Win 10 and widescreen, but issues are resolved and I can put back my saved games and start from where I left off with characters and chests.

This IP is a goldmine waiting to be ressurected. Add a stronger storyline, some qol fixes, 2022 engine and it would sell like mad. Just like blizz did with D2.

@@irondinos yeah, me and 1+ billion ppl have come to an age where we dont have the time or patience anymore to play the swarm of skeleton titles that appear on daily basis. After you spend hundreds on new games that are just a demo tech with a 10+ dlc list that add a few features each, you just boot an old game which is still vivid and brim with memories from the time when developers actually released full games. I spent days in Sacred just exploring map in amazement as a kid and never got to complete it. Now I get bored after 5 mins into a modern game cause it adds nothing new but prettier graphics.

Camera auto adjust is an option you can turn off. That might only be with the gold version, I'm not sure. As with most diablo clones, this game is made primarily for PC, mouse and keyboard play. The console ports are just kind of slapped together to be playable.

Yeah I think it is more of a personal peeve of mine rather than an actual fault with game . Overall though, I love the game and keep going back to play more. So the camera is not a major turn off for me.

Awesome rpg glad it's backwards compatible. but the question is does it play 4k? or 720p.

Heya, Adam here: Yeah the Xbox version has camera options as well. It’s just a little personal thing with the camera that I don’t like. Has nothing to do with the game itself. I think this game is excellent and I love playing the game. 👍

What is the mod that makes the map moving so linear with that aim at the center? And what is its purpose?

Just grabbed a digital copy for like 5 bucks and it made me look through an old box of games for fun, first game I pulled out of the box was sacred 2... Good times
