Sometimes, whenever I eat M&Ms, I like to hold two m&m's in between my fingers and squeeze as hard as I can until one m&m cracks. I eat the cracked one, and the one that didn't crack becomes the champion. Then I grab the other m&m, and force it to compete with the champion in this deadly game of m&m gladiators. I do this until I run out of m&m's, and when there is only one m&m left standing, I send a letter to m&m's brand with the champion m&m in it with a note attached that reads: "Please use this m&m for breeding purposes."

I know you copied and pasted this, but let me ask you about this method. So you weaken the M&M each time it competes which seems unfair. It seems like a flawed experiment. Now I'd be impressed if one M&M competed against the majority of M&Ms and won at the end. That one should be sent for breeding purposes (as long as you are applying the same pressure towards that M&M as the others). But say, for example, one M&M (Call it "A") makes it through 25 M&Ms and is being weakened each time. It now faces one of the weakest M&Ms (we'll call it "X") in the championship, however X has not been touched yet and so is at full strength compared to a withered and battle tested A. X wins. X has won only this one time - in the championship. BUT X is the last M&M standing. Should X be sent for breeding purposes? I think it should be whichever M&M gathers the most wins, but even then you are disadvantaging later M&Ms as they will have less opportunity to gather wins compared to earlier M&Ms. I suggest creating a bracket (similar to an NCAA tournament style bracket) to have your best shot at finding the true champion to send in to m&m's brand for breeding. This way, if there are 64 total M&Ms for example, the 2 in the championship will have both competed 5 times previously. Just make sure your fingers don't fatigue too much as to avoid potentially skewing the results.

@@realestedm1636 Great idea. But even still I have problems with this suggestion. The first problem is that of hand strength. I'm right handed, the unlucky M&M that draws the right side of the bracket likely receive greater pressure as it will be my strong hand squeezing it. After time and practice I'm sure we could overcome this problem by training the left hand up to the same level as the right. But it's something to be wary of. But here's another problem, what if both M&Ms in a particular round of the tournament break? Do we have a reserve batch of competitors?

@@rubbernuts7 Very true, I didn't take the differing hand strengths into full consideration. Maybe there can be some fair alternation? It would be a difficult mathematical formula to figure how the two fighting in the championship are the most deserving and are on an equal playing field regardless of the differential in hand strength (Maybe the one in your left hand has been tested with the right hand 3/5 previous times and the one in your right has been tested with the left 3/5 times). But even still that might not be sufficient to make the matchup fair. I also did not consider a draw. That could really screw up the bracket because we don't want to be giving byes. I'm gonna have to go back to the drawing board on this one.

Then go again. Thst way each M&M has the same number of battles. Go til you only have the 2 M&Ms left. Then they could breed those 2 ❤. 😁
