Well I enjoyed watching that so interesting, those paints do look nice, I may attempt it. You know I haven't even got a compass. Will have to pick one up at the £1 shop 2mora. Your artwork looks so beautiful.

I loved your tile creation! Really interesting, too, to hear some info about the Einstein shape, which I'd vaguely heard of, but didn't know what it was. Congrats on your milestone, and happy new year, Annie 😃

Happy New Year Annie! This was fascinating and both pieces are so beautiful, I don’t always understand it either but when maths and art intersect like this is my happy place 😄 ‘The hat’ shape is amazing, I’ve had a hat quilt in my head for a while, really must get started this year. I loved how you made the tiles actually look like stones!

Happy, Happy New Year, darling Annie! I wish you and your family all the best blessings of the new year. This is such synchronicity! I've found that my favourite YT artists will often post a vid or a tutorial that speaks to my heart and soul. (I know how flowery that sounds, but bear with me.) I am an enormous maths fan and used to work as a Nanny to a little girl. I helped raise her for 10 years and she's one of my best friends. (Not so little any longer - she's now 15!) She's a maths wiz and we were both obsessed with tessellation and the Fibonacci sequence in nature and in art. Geometry was the first way that we bonded when her mum hired me. I adore sacred geometry and I am so tickled to see you excited about it as well. I do so wish I lived home and could share all of my notebooks with you wherein I've explored this subject over the years. Sacred geometry has always figured largely in my paintings. I love this piece you did, Annie! It's wonderful! I have these paints on order and can't wait to try them with this. Thank you for inspiring me once again and sparking my imagination! Much love and bless xoxoxo

Synchronicity and serendipity indeed!! Another magical coincidence and something else we have in common. You must check out Zak Korvin's videos too, I bet your young friend would also enjoy them. Do you share pictures of your art anywhere? I would love to see :) xo
@lindseywarren4410 ай бұрын
Look at you! Grammar Girl after my own heart! LOL Serendipity was the word I was searching for in this old addled brain of mine. Love that you caught what I was trying to say. I've not taken many pics of my art. I'm struggling to change that at the constant prodding of my friends. I have recently joined Instagram and intend to move forward in this new year and publish more of my work. I'm enormously shy of it, which at this point in my journey seems silly to most....but it's the way I am. I am on the spectrum and I struggle with engaging with the world sometimes. Art is so personal to me and it's akin to baring my soul to others. I hope that makes sense. It is something I am working very hard on. I'll likely post over the next few weeks and hopefully you will like them. Thank you for being so lovely to me, Annie. I so enjoy your spirit! Much love and bless, my dear friend xoxoo@@artyfartyannie

@@lindseywarren44 omg yet more common ground, Tom and I have only recently discovered we are "on the spectrum" as they say, Tom with a formal diagnosis, me because we came to the conclusion during his assessment process that everything that fit him also fit me and made sense of so much. wish I'd known years ago. Completely understand the difficulties engaging with the world but strangely find talking to all of you through the camera feels very natural and easier than in person. Please do consider sharing your work, I used to find it very daunting, but it gets easier the more you do it and sharing our inspirations ad creations with each other is so rewarding and I think helps us all grow. The Discord community is much smaller and more friendly-feeling than FB or IG I think, maybe try sharing just one piece in there first, there's an art-show-and-tell room. Go on, make this the year you do it :) xo
@lindseywarren4410 ай бұрын
Aren't you just lovey?? Thank you for sharing that with me. It means more than you know. There are so many of us that are neuro-divergent and don't know. Yes, I've always been different. My husband felt it long before I ever spoke about it. He was my protector and would guard me from over-stimulation. He could look at me from across a room and tell. He'd come and take my hand and say "Come away a moment, you're 'full up'". I lost so much when he passed and it's been a struggle to come back. I wasn't formally diagnosed until therapy after his shocking death. It made so much sense to me! I'd been on my own since 16 when I was emancipated from my parents. I'd only known to try to take care of myself. It was tough having to relinquish some of my hard won control when I got married. But 30 years with a patient and amazing man taught me so very, very much. I'm forever grateful to have had him for so long. I thank you for being so lovely to me, Annie. It means more than you'll ever know. I thank you from my heart xoxoxoxo@@artyfartyannie
