Regards minerals, they belong to the natives of the land, Ireland is unlike any other country. We need to go back some time to understand this, First you need to know the roman empire never conquered Ireland Fact, this will be important as you read on, unlike all other European countries, Ireland its chieftains and clans (its people) are the true entitled people to rights of this land. This was long before the roman empire and any king or queen, predate any other family in the world, royal other wise. Now, Pope Adrian the 1st gifted Ireland to King Henery 2nd, which brings us back, It's was not the Romans in gift to anyone, there for the English have zero rights over Ireland, nor do the Europeans or any other Empire, Ireland and its people existed long before any of the Roman empires divine right of Kings, (current King and Queen authority you still see today) as it was not there's to give, everything there after is null and void, any removal of minerals by an invading entity is theft. They have zero rights to so nor does the crown estates, there claim is false as they have zero legal entitlement, this puts the land into what's known as disputed territory, and there for any removal of material's unlawful. Its time we appointed our high king, and eject those whom have zero rights to any of these lands. The popes secretary in roman can confirm the above, what's happening is illegal and a crime against Ireland and its native people. They have no legal recognised authority to conduct any such works while here on the island of Ireland.

Interesting and thank you for taking the time to share your findings. For me personally [and I know I don't speak for everyone, we all see things differently] the issue is more about respect for the land than ownership of the land. And yes, my father told me once the Romans could never conquer Ireland/Ériu for all it's high ways and paths - they didn't even try!
