The fact that Tim didn’t even care what job was open (or how bad it was), he just took the first thing that would keep him and Lucy together. And how soft his voice was when he told her that it didn’t matter because he just wanted to see her everyday 🥹😭🥰 he’s so in love with her that he’s completely changed his life priorities. It’s no longer job first life second. I can’t with these two 😍

I hear u!!!! There were so many loving & tender moments!!!! He too couldn't bear the thot of not seeing her every day. ❤️😭💕 BUT... I'm curious abt nxt. week, cuz they keep building. Gosh every episode, one after the other has been amazing!!!! I STILL love the fact that the 2 of them are STILL co-coaching Tyler's base ball team 2gether. I wrote a longer. But ppl debate who fell 1st,. more subconsciously. I don't think they ALLOWED themselves 2 c each other as anything more. BUT...I think Gray had suspicions BECAUSE Tim actually put Lucy ahead of his career, already once!!!! It's when passed the Sergeant's exam & came in 8th out of 140, & Grey knew he could've had a position in 2 wks cuz he owed a favor. But even then Tim asked if could think abt this. AND at the end of that ep. we learn that he told Grey that he wasn't quite ready to move up & it was due to Lucy. And she thot he was waiting for the Malibu Division, when he says, "I haven't finished training you yet ". It will be interesting b/c the spoiler next wk, says that Lucy & Harper try to figure out a way that he can have a better job in their division. The only thing I can think of, it might be related to the Elijah Stone storyline. Honestly I teared up for Lopez when she started to tear up & told Harper how scared she was. And how she checks on little Jackson 12 x a nite, & every time she gets a call, she's scared that it will be a cop standing over Wesley's dead body. And says, it's on her, to keep them safe!!!! I actually liked the fact, that they could show 2 strong women, who love working together, able to also stand up when Lopez lied to Harper & yelled her to get out of the car. BUT... immediately the next day, Harper was sympathetic when she kept saying to Angela, "and". She was trying to get Lopez to admit her fears. I actually assumed that Lucy wasn't under Tim's chain of command b/c she hasn't ALL season. Only 2 episodes other than Vegas uc job, Thorsen's been his aid. They only rode 2gether 2x, the Collar, ep. & these last 2 days. And Tim is technically a Sergeant for the Rookies. It's weird, b/c when Sgt Grey told Lopez that she was officially becoming a Detective, he told her immediately that she would no longer be reporting to him but to the Sergeant who oversees the Detectives. BUT....we haven't seen much & now it looks like they are reporting to Gray. So I don't quite get that. It will be interesting. BUT...of course, him choosing Lucy over his career without caring what job was more important to Tim. And I noticed that too, that he spoke softly that u knew he would miss not seeing her everyday just as much Lucy!!!! I think Lucy has deeply influenced him & has helped him heal after everything he went thru with Isabelle. And he has become & more vulnerable.

I know right! And I think it also speaks for character development, since his entire life Tim has fullfilled his duties as a good soldier or cop, always focusing on work without giving anything else a chance (of after his addict gf). I think it's a really big step for him, now he sees he's reached a point where he's done a lot and deserves happiness with someone that really cares for him. I love this. They really take good care of each other

@@franciscaampuero3378 I TOTALLY AGREE!!!! It was very loving, tender & beautiful!!! BUT honestly I thot it wz telling & significant when he realized he scored 8th out of 140, on the Sergeant's exam. Sgt Grey said he had a position 4 him & wz owed a favor. & told Tim he could start at the Hollywood Division in 2 wks. Suddenly Tim asks Sgt Grey, if he could think abt it overnite?! I think already Grey thot that wz very telling. It's s not til the end of the ep, when Tim & Lucy were standing outside of this donut bakery, as Tim came up w/ the idea, 2 keep this 1 guy safe, by making this 1 donut shop the place 4 the LAPD COPS 2 go 2 & Lucy tells him, it wz a genius move on his part. Tim says this one gang, & particularly the leader wldn't DARE try to launder $$$ thru this donut place. Lucy says, "Hollywood is lucky 2b getting u as their Sergeant." Tim tells Lucy that he told Sgt Grey that he wzn't quite ready 2 move up 2 Sergeant. & Grey had even told him then, that if he waited there wz no guarantee that he'd get a better opportunity. Lucy asks, "R u holding out 4 Malibu!?!". Tim suddenly says he's basically NOT taking it, b/c he hadn't finished training Lucy yet!!! BUT...yes he was being very willing 2 do what he could, SO that Lucy wldn't hve 2 leave & that it wz more important 2c he everyday. It DIDN'T surprise me, that he DIDN'T tell Lucy, cuz he knew she wld be against it 4 his sake!!!! He showed no hesitation, that this was serious, when he told Grey why he didn't tell him immediately, cuz they needed 2 figure out their feelings?! Grey immediately said, if u r coming 2 me now, it's b/c it's serious. Tim UNEQUIVOCALLY says, "Yes!!!" Lucy had already looked 4 a Sergeant position in the division 4 Tim & couldn't find 1 & didn't wanted him 2b demoted. BUT when she hearing the position that took, she knew instantly that Tim wld hate it. BUT...he made it very clear that what he would hate it even more NOT seeing her as well everyday!!!! I still think that Isabelle working in a different Division left scars. And he didn't want that again. Plus, we KNOW that Tim wants children & thot he would've been Dad already w/ Isabelle !?!

I love the way this relationship developed as a slow burn. They’ve been each other’s platonic loves for a very long time. And I love how gentle Tim’s being because that man is unconditionally and irrevocably in love with the lovely, kind & strong Lucy. I bet he’ll say “I love you” first.

Watching Tim transform from a tough/mean harda$$ T.O. to a man completely captivated and in love is the best thing ever. He’s putting her needs first. He’s making the two of them a priority over his career or what he would want. Lol-it’s so dreamy. I’ve fallen in love with Tim Bradford these last 2 seasons. (And the way Eric portrays him) it’s sexy AF.

Eric Winter is playing the Tim character superbly - and now it is two sides of the personality that he has to portray- the hardass on the job and the perfect male companion (that every woman dreams about). He is truly showing his acting talent. And... 5heir chemistry is the best out of all the couples on the show. I don't think the writers are gonna mess it up becos they are surely drawing in viewers who tune in just to watch the Chenford storyline.

I don't completely c Tim as some. Meaning I don't think the changes in Tim were as linear. Tim wz vulnerable w/ Lucy from the early in season 1. He wz spiralling over Isabelle & almost committed a felony on her behalf, even when he knew she wz lying & saying how it would be diff etc this time. When we 1st c Isabelle, Tim is crushed!!!! Lucy has no clue what just happened. He told Lucy 2 let go of the dealer she arrested. Lucy says, back in the shop, angrily, "What the hell wz that?!?" Tim just looks broken, & suddenly Tim says, "That's my wife. I haven't seen her 4 abt a yr." Isabelle didn't even recognize Tim at 1st. And he just says, "It's me." BUT...she wz his kryptonite!!!!! Isabelle simply asks him 4 cash, & he ends up giving 2 her whatever he had & immediately she ran off. Idk if Lucy didn't have the guts 2 go 2 Isabelle's that nite, I'm NOT sure Tim would've had the strength 2 stay true to himself. Lucy can c thru him at this pt & says 2 him, "I've been riding w/ u for 2 mths. U project the rogue cop, but u are always on the right side of the law.." He's FURIOUS w/ her 4 showing up & says, "What are u doing here?!". She says, "No what are u doing here?!" & adds, "I came here 2 remind u, that u'll regret helping her, b/c its not going 2 change her, but it sure as hell will change u." Tim goes back 2 his car w/ the kilo of heroine. We don't learn til the next day, he did put it back. Tim stayed faithful even when most guys wouldn't. He didn't sleep around & wanted her 2 get help, but feels helpless esp after she Oded!!!!!! He said 2 her, "I get it, u don't want 2 come home, but if u keep doing this, u're going to die." And she runs off again & Lucy appears right after he punched a wall. Even the ep, "The Switch", Jackson hadn't told Nolan & Lucy that he completely froze the 1st day. AND Lopez should've warned Tim, b/c he assumed Jackson could handle himself & they were helping a serious case & suddenly Tim thot Jackson wz hurt b/c he wznt doing anything but shaking & froze up again. Any other Rookie, wld've been done but as Lopez said 2 an understandably angry Tim, due 2 Jackson's Dad, "This is political whether we we like or not." Jackson is scared of working w/ Tim 4 that a day. Lucy says no 2 him, "He's calculating but NOT cruel.". Jackson ends up begging Tim to fix him & to NOT just throw him away. Tim took Jackson 2 meet w/ Wallace who hasn't left his apartment since he had a hate crime done to him. U c photos of him b4 & how he traveled everywhere. He told Jackson that Tim wz the one who found him & arrested the guys & Wallace says, that after since, Tim had kept checking up on him since this hate crime occurred. I've ALWAYS thot Tim is perhaps the most complex character on of them all. Don't get me wrong at times his ego would in the way & Lucy had 2b tough!!! But... there's always been moments when u wld c a diff glimpse of Tim right from the 1st season. Lucy I do believe from Season 1 saved Tim in many ways, as Tim wz training Lucy 2b a cop. I think Lucy also helped him 2 learn 2 have fun again. He could NEVER stay angry with her when she pulled off of pranks!!!! My favorite is still when she stole his $$$. Tim told her, she wz in so much trouble " when Lucy called the restaurant or bar. It wz the ep called The Hawke. Tim tells her that every cop needs to have a bit of an outlaw in them & to learn to think like a criminal. He could never stay mad, b/c he was also I think impressed with her!!!!! When the 3 were getting polygraphed due to the $200 000 that went missing the day they were guarding this huge Block if $$$ Tim says 2 Lopez & Bishop, "Well it wasn't Chen, she wouldn't have gotten caught." Bishop replies, "It sounds like you're complimenting her." Tim had no ego abt himself, he simply said, "All I'm saying is she's smarter than them." I think learning more abt his background has shown his layers. Tim wz such a tough TO b/c deep down, I think he wz TOUGHEST & HARDEST on himself!!!! The ep. in Season 2 called "The Q word." wz 1 of the most suspenseful episodes. At roll call, Grey tells them that the nite shift has left them w/ nothing 2 follow up. BUT... suddenly they're division is told abt what is happening in the Hollywood Division & 4 listening only & switch channels. They all begin to change their channels & Tim tells Lucy 2 the volume up, cuz he wants 2 hear. The Rookies esp Jackson recognize Chris' voice. AND he's starting 2 panic & calling 4 help. Immediately Tim says 2 Lucy, "He's too AMPED UP!!!!". Finally 1 by 1 they each attach themselves 2 this incident, where Lopez & Jackson get there 1st. Chris makes a DEADLY mistake!!!! And his TO & now Jackson is yelling 4 him 2 get back behind the shop. But Chris is shot & the 2 of them pull Chris back. When Tim gets there, Chris' TO is distraught. He has 2 stay so Jackson went in the ambo w/ Chris. He tells Tim, "He knows!!!! He's made mistakes b4 but never like this!!!!" Tim says "Rookies aren't used 2 the adrenaline & get AMPED UP!" & adds "Its 'Lights & Sirens Syndrome" BUT...he also says, this is the HARDEST part of being a TO. "We drill it in2 them from day 1 BUT at the end of the day, they make their own calls." At times, of course we c Tim's ego, but even Nolan's son's fiance, Abigail saw rite thru him. & says 2 Lucy, "Don't listen 2 him, he's all bark." Lucy says 2 Tim, "All bark. She's not buying what u're selling." I think Tim has been probably the most complex character. BUT he can have a facade!!!! I even wondered while he coaching Tyler's team, that this is more who Tim wz all along, but due 2 his Dad & what he put Tim thru, he became tougher & built up walls. But it's threaded thru out the seasons. I am curious if there come a day, that we c & hear Tim thank Lucy 4 all she did 2 protect him & his career esp the 1st season. But when she's nicked by a unsterile needle he shows her compassion. And when he wz possibly going 2 die from the biological weapon, he tells Lucy that if he gets it, he's not going out like his "man" whom he just witnessed & would take his own life. In Casualties we learn that he was a Sergeant in the military when he comes across Mitch. Tim assumes that Mitch hates him b/c he tells Lucy he let something slide & Mitch ended up losing a leg by IED. But suddenly at the end, Tim is shocked, as Mitch says 2 him, "It wasn't ur fault. You know? What happened 2 me. It wznt anyone's fault." Tim looks shocked & as they hug goodbye, Tim wipes 1 tear from his eye, but it's funny & cute cuz Kojo could tell that Tim wz sad. And starts to whimper. It's funny cuz suddenly he says to Kojo, "Not a word."

(Thank goodness cuz otherwise he would’ve been a hard character to like) But yes, he projects ultra-tough, “rogue” cop but there have always been blurred lines and sudden moments of softness. Even with Rachel he was gentle and soft. Tim in love is sexy. And Eric plays him so well. That balance of tough-guy and softness.

How perfect can a relationship be? Tim & Lucy: "Yes" Gosh I love this couple so much and really hope they will stay together forever. They are perfect for each other. And btw I don't think they run the show cus all characters are amazing, but I love a good Lovestory in a show as a "side kick", ya know!? It's not all about Tim and Lucy, but the writers doing an amazing job with their story. It's not too much and still we feel like we see enough of them and how they grow together. I'm hoping we are going to see their wedding in season 6 or 7 (because in this season it would be too fast and I want a lot more seasons xD)!

This edit is amazing! 😍Thank you so much for posting! I love how they're both looking out for each other (without knowing?) and treat each other with respect. Their slow burn really pays off now. Also amazing to see how Lucy brings out the best in Tim (as well as a side of him he probably buried for a loooong time deep inside) and vice versa. The way Tim shows Lucy she's now the most important thing in his life, his No. 1 priority is just... 💕 They are probably the most amazing TV couple ever - but that's my opinion.

WOW! Gotta say, what an incredible ep!!! I wz struck by even little things. I've FELT 4 a long time, that Tim esp, NEEDED Lucy 2 stay & b in the same division as him!!! He asked Nolan in the ep. of Lucy's 1st day bk, aftr her abduction, how Lucy wz really doing?! Nolan reassures him & says "Good." But adds "I think, she'll b better once the tattoo is removed." Tim says "Do u think its worse b/c its on the outside. Tragedies ALWAYS leave scars but only sum u can c." Harper had told Tim, she felt Lucy wld b better served riding w/ her, in her integrating bk on the job &.ends up telling Tim, she's bin thru what Lucy has. The final scene, of that aftermath ep. we c Tim speaking 2 Lucy. U can c albeit, brief, while boxing her shirts ride up a bit & Tim gets a slight glance of the tattoo. L self conscious, immediately pulls her shirts dwn. B4 leaving, suddenly he turned bk & talks abt his scars, the 1s u can c & the 1s he can't & says "& whether I like or not, they're a part of me." While talkin abt the 1s u can't c he says "Isabelle's addiction." & mentions his dad 4 the 1st time. Honestly, I felt that Tim NEEDS this, b/c of the scars he has of Isabelle & them NOT working at same division had 2 hve impacted him. Though its diff, I think Tim also & will ALWAYS carry scars from Caleb abducting Lucy & NOT seeing him. It wz gut wrenching whn he tells Lopez, "I'm a cop, I should've!! I wz standing this close 2 the guy & I never saw him coming." (even Harper, we know, how deep she wz in, as an uc cop & how much it messed her up & told L it cost her everything!!!) Tim knows he can trust those at the station 2 also protect Lucy. Granted L probably never told him, that Harper wz actually raped by another cop, her case manager. I GET why Tim went 2 Gray w/o telling Lucy. He knew she wldn't hve wanted him 2 sacrifice his career on her behalf. As usual, they BOTH were lookin out 4 the oth!!! BUT when Tim tells her there's no guarantee that their shifts will b in sync, Lucy suddenly said "I never thot of that,." & says "Wait by doing the rite thing we're going 2c each other even less." Instantly u cld tell she wz sad & says "No." & grabs the bags of gear. It wz a little thing but again it said alot whn Tim suddenly takes the bags of gear from her 2 return himself. Yes we've seen Tim at her apartment only a few times & only work related, well except 4 when they got bk from Vegas. Season 2, they go & find out Kojo has destroyed her apartment & in season 4, whn they went, cuz Lucy has 2 tell Tamara, her friend Becca wz found killed. Of course the last ep. as they planned their story & had a kiss that wz way more than abt work!!!! Lol!! But it wz always in their jobs. But suddenly seeing him rite at home, sitting on 1 of her bar stools, it wz completely natural. ( Where we used 2c Jackson & Nolan sitting, now it wz Tim) ❤️ BUT...tbh I wz surprised, b/c of the spoiler, I didn't think it wld b in this ep they'd sleep 2gether, b/c of it being in a spoiler & b/c it just didn't sound natural. I wz correct that it wznt that nite, but it surprised me 2c it did end up happening the following nite but in a natural way!!! I thot Lucy looked gorgeous in what she wz wearing. U cld c how intimate they've become, as soon as Lucy kissed him & says, "But we're so good at arguing." Hearing Tim say "I know,.BUT I'm hoping we're good at other cer. things as well." Lucy had a beautiful smile, whn she says "Do u want 2 find out right now?!"

Beautifully portrayed Cookie!!!! Like always, you have good ideas. I like that for once the man steps aside in his career at the beginning of a relationship or family, cause normally the woman takes more sacrifices when it comes to work(wich I also find to be normal because they are the ones who get pregnant😊). I just like how thw writers unfolded it. We will have to wait and see the reaccion of the coworkers at the station aaaannndddd if in his new position Tim will have to collaborate with Chris. Also I hope that it is not for long and Tim can go back to action🚔👨‍✈️
