Nathan; Pretty sure you know this! You pioneered a channel at a time when everyone & their brother in law didn't have a channel. I'll never forget the early days, you, the phone, an E39 or 46 outside, wind blowing. As well as continuously growing & improving the production and content you took a lot of it where you and the viewers wanted too. From a strictly mechanical standpoint you are legitimately legendary at this point! Go onto any Bmw forum a newb ask's for help & generally a link to one of your vids immediately follows. You've answered me, personally, more than once through various forms of communication! Regardless of having 20k subs or 150k+. I can go on but to sum it up your a rock solid individual! You never sold out, sure you could have. You've never changed who you are You've stayed true to that. I've been with more than a few channels & how that person started to where they got after several hundred subs is 2 different ppl to say the least & while keeping it polite. Not you! I think we have watched you grow, which is what life is all about. "Change" though? Values, attitude, how you speak and treat ppl? Nope! The same, courteous, professional, polite, knowledgeable as a mo fo guy who started all this hasn't become larger than life (like many!) Or dressing in all white clothes with $700 sunglasses on doing videos!!! Your Bmw vids are always going to be here!! (T.G.! For those of us who still own them!) I'm not going anywhere. I'm one year older than you & I've never taken care of myself so just maybe it's due time I start. Or, quite honestly, At bare minimum the information and knowledge + skill you have passed to me (& 1,000's of others) I kind of feel the least I can do is check out your new vids. F.r. It's also a win, win for both of us as almost anything I started doing to improve my health will only help! I just bought my first vette (C5) & I'd like to be around a while to enjoy it & hopefully a few after it. Quite simply YOU ARE THE MAN NATHAN! In my book everyone "talks" quite a bit. You do. Than you document it to a t with top notch production and so on. I liked you from your first vid, every single thing I know about Bmw's I learned from you over the course of about 7 or 8 years. I'm one of many too. I personally cannot TY enough & I sure can support the new direction your going. If I had to guess I suspect the car bug will bite again. Maybe not to the extent prior and I'd have no problems in the future if you through in some fresh car content. Something for you, that YOU enjoy, that you want. I'm on 8 Blood pressure pills a day, I'm 62 :metoprolol, losartin, 2 clonidine, 3 hydralazine, Norvasc . I started 2000mg morning and 2000mg bedtime of the krill oil. If my blood pressure drops ,I'll start cutting back on my blood pressure meds as needed. I'll get back with you after I see how things pan out. Thanks for your input on BP meds

As an E38 & E39 owner there are many message boards and your videos are useful to me and others so your work is greatly appreciated. When I find a useful BMW Video I download it offline so I can reference it anytime and anywhere with or without internet. I totally agree with your decision and to use the channel to make a difference in people's lives. If a person's health fails they won't be driving or working on their BMW. The New content has helped my wife and I and I'm was already off the BP meds and she is working with the doctor to get off her meds. With the current economic climate the less meds that you are on the better! Now if could just get the AC on My 2007 Tacoma working again from the dreaded blinking ac light.... Sigh...

Alot of times they fracture the compressor on the inside and merge the high and low side, if your low side is reading high then this will be your ac issue

I replaced the Compressor sensor, Climate Computer, Checked the relay and when I drive the Truck around and it gets hot under the hood the compressor will kick in and work and the pressures read in range so I'm suspecting that compressor but It just drives me nuts! Turn off and it coos off and get blinky light Ugh!

As I have a combination of a ) posting videos on KZbin about my job and b ) being an E39 owner, I really get your point. I've been in photography and video production since 2001 and started vlogging "behind the scenes" on my jobs, which caught on. But ........ a ) it's the good ol' skew: very few channels split most of the views/profit between them. It's just a guess, but I would expect 2% of the channels on KZbin to rake in 98% of the total so the vast majority of KZbinrs shouldn't do this for the purpose of generating income but (like I am) to position them selves in their business. And b ) I see that a LOT of KZbinrs gets caught up in this cycle, where it just eats them up: they have an interest, expertise or equipment (like, in my case, cameras) and start positing about this simple just to share. Then they start noticing that some content gets more views than other content. They start buying gear to have more to show in the videos. Start making videos, not because it was a natural thing to do but to get more views. This is a vicious cycle that ends up "eating" many KZbinrs. Even "large", successful KZbinrs burn out because of this. And then you realize, what's it all about ..... what's in it for me ....... and you lift the foot from gas pedal a bit ........ and the viewers instantly just goes to the next KZbinr....... and the next.......

I think working on cars is good when you're young because you are learning but once you hit late 40's 50's that's it. its too much trouble to crawl under the car or worse yet once you're done clean you hands clothes and anything else that got oil on it. good for you!!!

I own a 2000 z3 your vid on ccv delete was invaluable ! didnt catch can simply vented cam cover & dipstick no problems , as was yours on intake manif. removal to replace my starter - about killed me in the summer heat - running on shear willpower largely - no strength or endurance post chemo & rad. im certain wouldve been twice as bad had i gone at it blind without you ! On behalf of all of us BMW owners thank you for your tireless effort over the years !
