Con il naso a livello del terreno .....l'apoteosi dell azione non può eguagliare l'intenzione. L'intenzione è tutto ,il come ,il quanto non è importante. Il quando....il giusto momento è il secondo fondamentale.

Thank you Hedleylara! So it is Erbarme dich mein Gott! I only have in my collection a full version of the aria -contralto, strings, etc.- but I never recognized the melody from the small piece Alexander plays on the harmonium. Would you happen to recognize which bar is he playing? I assume it's an arrangement of the voice and the melody, but I'm not good at musical harmony. Thank you for the information, I really appreciate it! W.
