thought sad cafe was good group-had facades at one time-this is great song and i never met any person that has ever heard of them-first heard run home girl and thought who does this-still is great song-my oh my is good-have many good songs-still are good

Peaked only as high as No. 78 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Charts in 1981. Underrated song in my opinion. Good soft rock stuff. Breezy and relaxing summertime coolness!

Paul Young - a great voice that was misused in Sad Cafe IMHO. His voice was more suited for a harder rock style. Mike + The Mechanics used him much more appropriately
