@@linathompscn9894 right. I thought they were tryna say Cindy was Fred’s mom which why he said “it’s you.” At the end of the movie. But then it wasn’t like what??? Then what was the point of the mom being in the movie at all if that wasn’t the case

@@linathompscn9894 Cindy is the women he wanted and since he could kinda travel multiples paths on different timeline, he kinda found out it was his mom and not Cindy. His not the only one travelling, the others are asleep so they can't notice.The 5 ones in that broken down house could. His mom is the one whom inflicted upon him those parasitic numbing in his spirit so she has been trying to fix her mistake while trying to control his life. It end's with him accepting that path since Cindy was only trying to create a life with him, when he awoke at the hospital to find his mom, he realised a path has been traced for him while Cindy was just a dream since he wasn't doing much beside being a bum. Both path worked yet you can see he lived the mother's path twice and my analysis would be "cougar mom VS girlfriend"
