Sorry you have to go thru this Ryan. Started my own construction business and doing it all on my own so far, at 53 years old with a bum knee, except for my wife who markets and takes the call ins. If I had even one Bugs I could rock and roll. God Bless from Kentucky brother.

Catching up every now and then, honestly been in construction my entire life and love it. I licensed in New Mexico about 12 years ago and it was the best and worst thing I have done. Best because you end up with better work and customers, worst because it is harder than anyone can tell you. I really find your 'motivational moments' insopring to keep moving ahead. It really is ahrd to stay positive when people are hating but you are 100% right, just have to keep moving forward and not look back. Leave the negative stuff in Jr High haha. Appreciate and love the work y'all do and thanks for the positivity boss 👊👊👊

Ryan, good job, don't let the trash talkers get you down, you seem to be a great boss, a great gut and an expert concreter you have nothing to worry about as far as your job goes or your family matters go, stay well, stay safe keep on doing the right thing, John , Australia

I really like Ryan and wish him the best but I have to wonder what he pays his guys. The only time I remember seeing this kind of turn around is in very low paying jobs where the guy knows he can get the same or better anywhere. Also you won’t attract people that have dependents if you don’t pay a living wage.

Hey Ryan your a stud! I love watching your videos! I hate concrete but you guys make it look easy! That was some great wisdom you shared with everyone! You're an amazing leader it looks like your guys truly love working with you I admire how you run your business keep posting content!

I’ve watched many of your videos and being self employed I appreciate the work you put in Ryan and feel your pain with staff atm. Always makes you feel like crap having to get rid of guys that take the mick but you’re right to not tolerate it as they don’t respect you. Unlike the top employee bugs who appreciates you.

Your advice on how to deal with haters is 100% accurate. If he would have put his energy into his business instead of bashing you, he himself might be building commercial buildings on property he owns while running a concrete and rental business!

For cleaning the tools put a barrel or some kind of trough at the yard with vinegar in it that the guys can just dump the tools into. The acid will dissolve out the cement, although it'll rust anything iron based too.

Good for you for not commenting!! Nothing silences haters like silence. I’ve never understood working “construction “ til I started watching you. I can say I’ve done this and that but I can’t drive around and point at a house and say “I did that…and that…and the one over there…”

Can you just hire another Bugs? He does the work of 4 people, shows up on time, and does excellent work. Edit: I just heard your piece of advice about success and trash-talkers. I had my first experience with that recently. I didn't realize the jealousy would come from my best friend though, kind of caught me off guard. Time for some new friends I guess. Just keep working!
