Yes Ms. Keeley thats exactly what happened, he has pushed me so much so many indecisions on his part, that after 9 years of back and forth I exploded said some hurtful things totally out of character for me, and now he is so offended that he broke up with me, truly not enough said by me, he has tortured me plenty but I feel its another cop-out as usual. It hurts like hell he’s using this to make him feel better about themselves… He has sabotaged the relationship on so many levels… I feel crazy, I feel so defeated so tired of giving , nurturing, and I can’t think of anything else.. We are an older couple with so much to give one another, we are stable, we bought a home together , I am not there now, but I left all my furniture, there is love on both parts but I cannot comprehend his reactions. I hope he has no regrets about the decisions he's making. I think he may be waiting for me to fall in love with someone else, and then he'won't have the stress and fear of dealing with me anymore. He will NEVER find a woman like me again.! This situation is dragging on way too long, and the longer it remains stagnant, the more chance the relationship will die. She’s not coming back but I can never let her go, no matter how she treated me I always saw the pain it was born from, I never hated her, I never wanted to leave her, in my heart I never have. He and I were both in the music business so yes, we used to send each other great cuts from albums we loved in the good old days. You are so perceptive. He did push me. I had turned a blind eye to some things, and I was really cool about it but then I responded to something he was doing and I called him on it. So he blocked me. And here we are. Everything you say here is quite correct. The anxiety in him. Also the strong bond with me who became the calm within his storms. Like the soothing arms of his lovely mother or the calming influence with his older sister. And the probability of a deep father wound in him - his military officer father - very strict with huge expectations for his only son who went off to war at an early age to the jungles of the far east - very gory - no glory - huge trauma in the lives of those young men at that time of history. She did push me away, she was putting on a show for her friends so, they would nit suspect hat we had feelings for each other, because she’s married. No I wasn’t sick of her but, I didn’t like what was going on and I wasn’t going to fall victim to her friends, for her yes, but, not for her friends. I had to make a stand and let them know that because she could say and do things to me, but, not them. I had to set up boundaries and make a stand and put some people in their place and so, I did! We know what’s going on and if their was any deceit in her relationship with me and what we had discussed, then, it was a message to her too.
