Sad Irish Ballad for Celtic Harp - played on Ravenna 26 [SHEET MUSIC AVAILABLE]

It’s unbelievable how long I’ve been wanting to do a recording of this beautiful song and never got round to doing it… Well here it is finally! I actually heard this song more than 20 years ago and have no idea what it’s called, but I could never get it out of my mind. All I remember is that it tells the sad story of a woman having a love affair who is disillusioned by the experience. If anyone recognises this tune, please let me know in the comments!
I am playing this tune on a Dusty String Ravenna 26 string harp. The Ravenna is a very popular starter harp in the US but I hadn’t come across it here in Europe before. Until now! And wow am I impressed. Doesn’t it sound incredible for its size? I’m absolutely in love with it. One thing you can’t tell from the video is… how lovely its smell: the delicious scent of wood. I’ve never experienced that with any other instrument… and it’s totally addictive! It’s like a 4D playing experience! Planning to shoot a video review soon.
