I would like to apologise to our Sikh brothers for this unfortunate behaviour by some unscrupulous party or parties. Langars are done all over the world and nobody ever stopped them anywhere in the world and Goa is the first place that a Langar has been stopped. The Goa Government should be ashamed of its behaviour. They should look into the matter and punish those responsible for this unbelievable behaviour. It's a shame for Goa

Our Sikh Community are one of the best community in India and all over the world. I love Sikh Community, best amongst Indians , see their love to serve food, soft drinks for the Christian feast of St. Francisco Xavier, surly gifted to the needy by the living Saint, they deserve billion thanks and not million. It's a wonderful act, none of our Goans were competent to do that. It is first time in the history of Goa such a Free Stall appeared in the vicinity of Old Goa . God Bless them abundantly for all their good work, and let more and more come up to do such charitable activities- Anacleto De Souza of Soncrem Shiroda Ponda Goa.

Sikh community has been doing this sort of things ie serving food soft drinks/ water n Thandai "Free " for years in India n this they do in charity n maintaining a high standard of hygiene . I had been drinking thandai in Delhi during the hot summers on the road .it really use to cool the body .It is really sad to see the people are deprived of this free services provided by the Sikh community.Hats off to them for these sort of free services. .

This complaint must be given by those peoples who put there food stalls during the feast and they felt if the Sikh people giving the food entire feast then there so called business might be get affected a lot.... But many of our poor Goan Catholics have no job so they sell their non veg & veg stuff so that they can make some money during the Feast. There are very few jobs in Goa so some of our poor Catholics have this option. That's why they must have requested the Sikh community to stop providing free meals.

Why suddenly a langar at the Old Goa Feast, what were people doing before this all these years, that suddenly they start a langar there, best they could have given to Charity or old age homes, street children etc if they were really sincere about it, there's something really very wrong here, and fishy too
