Yesterday I saw our players going all out to play, but they couldn't exhibit their best because of the pitch. So those of us asking whether Angola players played in the air, let's rethink. Just look at the clearance that caused the goal, you could tell that it was not the defenders intention to make such a weak clearance. If not for the pitch, the player would have gotten a firm standing to clear the ball better.

Most of the Angolan players are local based players. Our players like Tariq Lamptey, Inaki, Semenyo were not born in Africa and are not used to this type of pitches. Others like Kudus, Partey, Jordan, Fatau, etc. are high profile players who are used to playing on good pitches. Why should Ghana be struggling with pitches in 2024? This is the question we should be asking
