Looking to getting into saddle hunting. What saddle would you recommend thank you
@HeartlandMakesAndOutdoors15 күн бұрын
I can tell you only from reviews online, I will say the Buzzard roost, out of LA is a two piece, and being new to the saddle's it suppose to be really comfortable, I have never used it, I can only say it is well recommended for new users, and this one in this video I am very happy with made by Lattitude, and the it is called LONESTAR. Cruzer XC is suppose to be good as well, if you have a friend close by, you may be able tp try a few with him, they are a little but different. Sorry, wish there was a good solid answer, but best advice I can give on it, is try a few if that is an option and if not I would start by looking at these three and see what you like and dont like about each one. Thanks for taking the time to watch an commment and happy thanksgiving. Have a blessed weekend. Dale

Have you ever tried an Eberhart Signature saddle?
@HeartlandMakesAndOutdoors9 күн бұрын
I have not. I’m on a limited budget and the one I made lasted me several years. The latitude is the first one I have ever bought production wise. I’d love to try some others for reference. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment and I hope you have a blessed week. Good luck this season Dale.

Great video. I just got into saddle hunting and bought Hawk. It's ok, but it ain't the most comfortable, especially a 6 hour seat. I will purchase the lone star saddle. My only question is, what brand of holster is that?

Been saddle hunting over 30 plus years, the bridge spreader is a great idea but does not work wearing binos at least for me. A seat, I use a podium foot platform as a seat and straddle the tree. The podium folds up and out of the way. If you are told to stand still or sit still for an hour what position are you going to make more movement in??🤔 standing of course. I’ve never on any pod seen suggest sitting while saddle hunting it’s a game changer. Last tip use a back brace, you can literally take a nap with brace and a seat. I do that exactly in the morning when I get to my tree an hour early. Just some tips from a 68 year old bow hunter. Saddle ON my friends. 🏹🏹🦌🦌🏕️🏔️🙃

Thank you so very much for these tips my friend, I so agree, it is so much easier to stay still while seated than standing, it all makes so much sense and thank you so very much for taking the time to share these tips with us. Today marks opening day for the second archer season on the public I hunt, I will try to make it out this week and try some of your tips, I will look into the seat you are talking about and I agree on the bio case, I dont think it will work with mine either, I do think I will use it for the camera mount I made for it and see if I can't get some fun videos with it. Thanks again, I hope you have a blessed week and happy hunting if you are able to get out some more and hunt. Dale
