Thanks for the 10 yr update. I bought SBL Classic in early 2000s on ebay. I think its one of the first handful produced. From memory there was one option medium size chestnut 2 rivets no key fob no branding. I waited over a month for delivery. I remember a picture in the ad of a kid with a worn out bag holding an AK. I still have it and like you said it is a tank.

Great video!! I just checked and I’ve had my SBL large classic briefcase in tobacco for 11 years this year!! I got the chance to meet Dave & Suzette in Leon Mexico a few years back ~ they are GREAT people!

@ ~ Mine doesn’t have anywhere near the use yours has …. Your videos are great. I’m considering using it as a carry-on / weekend bag with some compression cubes. Have you ever tried that?

Thanks for doing all the videos all these years. I’ve watched every one. I bought a Thin Briefcase around 8 years ago I think. Been using it everyday since. Also have bought dozens of other SBL stuff but the briefcase is special.

Love the look of an aged TB bag. The large is just too big for me. Looking for a nice medium TB with suede interior but they are hard to find.

I bought one in 2006 and sat behind my truck seat do do quotes but I pretty much just did cost + work for one builder for almost two decades it never seen the light of day so in in near new condition.

I have had the exact same model of bag since around 2008, carried it around most days and it is still like new. Once or twice a year I put some beeswax or leather on it. Can't recommend it highly enough.
