Nice bikes!! I would also like a saddlemen for my low rider, but would like the female to be able to sit on the back, is a step up enough for him? the back piece seems fairly narrow

I had a SDC pro on my FXLRS, but it was too narrow for the wife. After an hour she was done with it. I’ve since bought a saddlemen explorer. That is much more comfortable than the SDC pro, but aesthetics are not great. Looks better than going with the sundowner though.

I currently have the sundowner on my Street Bob. It’s comfortable but hideous to look at. How does the SDC compare as far as seating position in your opinion?

@@zackadams419the SDC is narrower and much more firm. It looks better than the sundowner, but comfort isn’t comparable. The SDC will lower you a bit. I’m not sure about whether it will push you more forward though.

Hi mate could you please tell me is the step up touring seat much higher than the SDC seat, I have the same bike and wouldn’t mind sitting up a little bit higher, I will not be taking a passenger if it’s not much difference in seat height I will buy the SDC seat with the lumber support, what’s your advice as these seats are not cheap

In terms of seat height I did not really notice a difference - If I had to say though, I would say if anything the SDC sits slightly higher, again though, not enough to be really noticeable
