Searched around for a good while and finally made a decision on a seat. I called Saddlemen up for details and made the drive to visit their factory. Video includes install and short review of the FXR Set-up seat.

Change the phillips head stock bolt. Use a star head bolt instead. Nobody walks around with a star wrench, but they do have phillips drivers. Much safer if you're worried about theft of the seat.

I’ve got one too, should’ve done it sooner. Although one thing I’d change is no gripper material on the back/ upright portion.

I bought the sport seat for my little R3 to make the 7 hour trips more comfortable. My little bike was converted into a sport touring bike and the Saddlemen works to perfection. Downside: It raises the seat height about one inch which moves the clipons farther away. I noticed a bit of soreness in my neck after 7 non-stop riding. It could also affect the seat height for those who are already on their tip toes (5' 2" riders with a 27" inseam).

I've got a 2013 Street Bob put short handlebars on it that actually goes on a Dyna Low Rider order the saddlemen seat this morning like the one you got keep on turning and keep learning damn skippy thanks brother I live up here in Fort Worth Texas

You need to fix the quality control on your seats for vtx1800 seats I had to make rubber bushing for the front of the seat for the seat to fit properly..

Great video man, just one question. I just bought a dyna with foward controls and I’m only 5’7’’ I have some trouble reaching with my legs, would this seat help me reaching foward?

I too am 5’7”. It help me by pushing me forward a little bit. I love this seat. Just try not to leave it in the sun too much. I would just not leave it in the sun because mine is starting to crack

yes i just installed it about an hour ago took it for a quick blast to check it out feels stiff and holds me in place very nicely just asking others that have this seat if theyre feeling the same as me thanks for the quick reply

ThePolygonJohn I'm 5 foot 8 . I bought a 2 up seat from my local Harley shop . What a mistake . $300.00 . It's only a inch thicker , but man what a difference. Sucks ! Few hundred more and I could have gotten a nice seat .
