I used to listen to Sade as a child in the 90s. It is only now that I am an adult, that I can fully grasp the brilliance of her lyrics and melodies...and appreciate her genuine spirit...she is a living legend (both in music and fashion). Same. The older I get the more I can relate. Similar to Pink Floyd. I had been listening to their music all teenage years and thought I got it, but I didn't. It's only in my adulthood I fully understand (at least I think so, let's see what I'll have to say in 10years time) and it makes it even more bitter sweet. I was lucky enough to see her perform in Prague in 2011.
