Not all families are happy. The kids don’t wanna talk about their family problems and in school they are happy because some have friends and they also have their classmates who secretly go through the same thing. As humans we have to process and deal w emotions. Not pretend they didn't happen or numb them. As a kid you don't REALIZE how MUCH your parents did for you until getting a lot older. Only then do we appreciate what they sacrificed for US. ❤

The real reason singers became world wide pop stars and his solo career blow up was because of the freemasonry hand signs he show`d again and again. The 2 popular hand signs M J used often were 666 and devil horns. In most cases the singer shows at least 4 hand signs and these are: 666 devil horns one eye tongue showing aka mocking. The talent may be there, but the hand signs must be there. Thats how a soul becomes a “rich and famous” singer or actor.

We tend to forget to acknowledge that our parents are mere humans. They make a lot of errors. They fail to make good examples for you. They teach you the do's and don'ts. They are not perfect nor heroes. But they are the reason you are reading this right now. As im writing this while listening to the song i've shed tears, wetting my pillow. I'm so fucking greatful to be alive. I accept that they are awful at times. But love always comes with a price. I'm grateful that I'm 17 and still breathing. I'm grateful that i didn't kill myself years back. And you should too. Hearts to all people in the comments

I can remember a time my parents got into an argument when I was around 7 so my sister picked me up and I slept at her place that night. I got a call from my dad, he was at a hotel. He said everything was fine and that he loves me. I was confused and had no idea what had happened. My parents are still together but I know they aren't happy. It's also rough because they weren't like that before I was born. When my siblings were younger, they still loved each other, they would kiss each other goodmorning and goodbye. Now they don't acknowledge each others presence. Growing up with parents who don't love each other isn't fun, I feel like I will end up just like them. But they love me and I have both of them in my life. I'm lucky they love me as much as they do. I just wish they would love each other too.

I used to shut my door while my mother screamed in the kitchen I'd turn the music up, get high and try not to listen To every little fight, 'cause neither one was right I swore I'd never be like them But I was just a kid back then The older I get the more that I see My parents aren't heroes, they're just like me And loving is hard, it don't always work You just try your best not to get hurt I used to be mad but now I know Sometimes it's better to let someone go It just hadn't hit me yet The older I get I used to wonder why, why they could never be happy I used to close my eyes and pray for a whole 'nother family Where everything was fine, one that felt like mine I swore I'd never be like them But I was just a kid back then The older I get the more that I see My parents aren't heroes, they're just like me And loving is hard, it don't always work You just try your best not to get hurt I used to be mad but now I know Sometimes it's better to let someone go It just hadn't hit me yet The older I get The older I get the more that I see My parents aren't heroes, they're just like me And loving is hard, it don't always work You just try your best not to get hurt I used to be mad but now I know Sometimes it's better to let someone go It just hadn't hit me yet The older I get.

Thank you, Sasha, for this song. It helps me to understand what my parents had been through. Your song comforted me whenever I feel sad or thinking about how my family supposed to be if they were one happy family. I moved on, but sometimes those thoughts still lingered inside my mind, and - just like what you said in your song, not everything is able to work. It certainly hit me in times like this.

From trauma to crippling depression, everyday verbal and physical abuse(to this day) and leaving me constant need for love and validation.. My parents made sure i went through all of it. It's incredible how music can capture the depth of emotions we sometimes can't put into words. This track took me on a journey of introspection, reminding me of moments in my life filled with love, loss, and everything in between. Thank you for sharing such a powerful piece it's the kind of music that stays with you long after the last note fades.
