This film is based on the spiritual guru of 18th Century.
A major commercial road in shivajinagar Pune, Jangli (also spelled Jangali) Maharaj Road, better known as J.M. Road, is named after Jangali Maharaj who’s “Math” or Ashram lies on this road. Even it looks like a temple, it is a Muslim dargah. The story is of spiritual guru and his journey of different places and period. This is one of the effort to present his life journey in front of audience on big screen. Story is not based on just available contents.

Mohmmad Sha Kadari is his original name. Ahirwadi in south solapur is his grandparents home and house is at honmurgi village near to ahirwadi.
The journey depicted in the movie starts from Honmurgi to Jat , Jamkhindi, Kuduchi, Karadaga, Rethre-Haranaksh, Nerle, Dehu, and then to Bhanburde Shivajingar Pune.
