Sadhguru-By giving you can destroy someone's life

-If you give a ton of gold to an ant, it will only crush the ant.
-what you give, how you give,is very important.
-You don't just give because somebody is asking.
-If you get things ,that you are not ready for, life doesn't become better, life only becomes a turmoil in so many ways.
-both the giver and the receiver can be in a lot of trouble simply by giving something or by receiving something for which they are not
ready.
-Misplaced compassion always comes from your ego.
-True compassion is not about giving or taking.
-True compassion is just doing what is needed.
-genuine compassion is possible, when there is nothing to fulfill in you, you are just doing what is needed.
-if you give to un-evolved person something, you will only overburden him.You will only destroy his life.

ThankQ sadhguru for the thought about compassion. I was having very hard pain/confusion about it . My friend needed help I did Wat we could but e didn’t make it up . Now I knw y somthi wer given without asking become big sufferings for me . I didn’t know how to handle it . Everythi was placed as if food was served in unlimited quantity which I can take in . I kinda realised a person will be given what is ready for or what he is capable of to handle things . One part of many questions is cleared as of now 😊

Such moral lesson I have been learning since my childhood, school. Hah! Law of nature, food chain. Shiva once reminded the men in the earth to save nature; trees and innocent animals and people. One day Shankara became very angry when he saw some villagers cutting down trees. He threatening asked them what if their bodies were too cut off into pecies! While the Bishnu was bound to save the eagle, The Mahadeva was bound to save the snake... There was the greatest war btwn the two great Devas. Mahayudha.

See it's not about fullfillment.......it is about the commitment....in dis social world an artist can easily make a living out of his talents but people like ritwik ghatak were not overly compassionate but their involvement and understanding led to sowing seeds of humantarianism above morality above immorality and made millions look life in a deeper way...and their devotion to life is intense....watch pather panchali even a water bug becomes the most liberating scene in the film...ones mind can become much sensitive and receptive if the are looking at their films with awareness and receptivity

Not sure it is bad or good. But I have some people(only two) I have given some money very grateful. many others thought (who I gave some as well) where not so grateful. My conclusion is giving because you feel they have a bad situation like less money may not be right thing to do. My intention to give was to be fair because life was very unfair to them. Now I see differently , I see giving may be myself interfering. I stopped giving.
