Do you know why? It’s because Indian philosophy is not based on religion. It’s based on dharma. Dharma is not the same as religion. You cannot compare apple with orange. Dharma is not created by somebody. It is always there. You just plug yourself to the on going energy. It begins with an individual’s consciousness.

The interviewer was sweet. He wasn’t clueless he had genuine questions. Sadhguru always answers the same way he’s always up to his little tricks he knows what people are asking him and want to know but he avoids there questions and he knows it. I love Sadhguru and Isha very much don’t misunderstand. But he’s a mischievous one.
@isoladouglas57372 ай бұрын
Often the people themselves are not aware about what they are asking. When Sadhguru feels that the audience will benefit, and it's not just "for ratings", he obliges by paraphrasing the question. I do agree through, that he gets mischievous sometimes. Enjoy the exchanges, nonetheless.

This is where I can say my spiritual journey began ( I am a female) but my eyes were on India, though I live far away. A friend recently asked me, if i think I am living in the wrong part of the world ( western) I nodded. She allready knew the answer. Stepping outside of their mad rush for material accqisitions seem to alarm them, for what ever reason. I am afraid most days to step out into what Brother marley called their "CONCRETE JUNGLE"...wisdom is a accquired in the silences of time and alonesss. And while we eat from the same plate, my bit maybe sweeter or spicier than your's, and if I am hungry, more fulling, bless Sadhguru.

In fact this and million other reasons...., even wthout him saying,my mind automatically bows down to him..making his nativ things sooo respectable. A thing or two to learn for us and the screamers. He is also not a weak 'guy smiley' either. Iv heard him being firm in upholding his ancient ways &also joking about his own culture,language,evn god. Such a bright light so confident! I think to that lady who lost her son, pain is immense, especially a Parent's pain of losing a child, its worse, but even then we have a choice to suffer or not. Yes suffering and pain of your own child's death is inevitable and may seem out of your control, but you still have a control over how you take that suffering internally, how you perceive it. A wise person never mourns death of a physical being because physical body is temporary clothes of soul, so mourn the separation of that soul from you! For separation means that one day you will meet again, your souls will re-unite. We humans want to have a control over everything despite knowing damn well that there is so much that BEYOND our control as we are a speck of dust vada vada. We think we have a right over someone, or their souls or the universe owes you things, things like being able to see your son grow, graduate, marry and have children. But truth is it is NOT in our control, we have no right over the child's life or success, they don't owe us. What Sadhguru was trying to make her understand that she fulfilled her duty completely, she gave birth! She brought a new life to this world and gave him a beautiful life. So she has nothing truly to blame herself or torture herself by asking herself WHYYYY constantly. Rather we all need to give acceptance to all that happens to us and our loved ones, which is beyond our control, and death is a reality that will happen to all who come into existence, however, a soul can never be killed. Soul will always find its way to its soul-family and its true origin, i.e. its creator.

He’s right, to some extent. We FEEL emotion in reaction to external events, which is natural. With awareness, we can learn to control those emotions, to some extent. But it’s not always a decision, the way we feel. It can sometimes be somewhat out of our control.

I know what he he trying to convey. As a Hindu myself, He is focusing on Moksha & Nirvana which are afterlife concepts. Krishna said and this has impacted me the most on my presence on this planet "कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन। मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि......" which means just perform your duty sincerely without expectation of its fruit. Dont aim for Moksha, dont wait for results, do your Karm to protect Dharm. Your journey as a spirit will be taken care by Brahman.

Look how our gurus are talking without giving any reference from a specific book. That is Hinduism. Find god inside you. When you are on right path, when your internal self guide you about good deeds and evil deeds, then you are getting close to your inner god. If god is everywhere then god is also inside us. So expect finding it outside, find the nearest location possible and thats you yourself.
