Yes I remember crying in my home. I wouldn't say I was crying. Sure tears were coming out. But the feeling I had when I was listening it through my headphones, somewhat it shaked me. Sorry u will laugh on this too but just try to understand just, u have a shit electronic diviece in ur hand ,its different listening on headphones and in real. I don't know these peoples are acting or what but in history it's written that music instruments are not just for fun it's a medium to connect. there are only very very very few peoples who can play those instruments correctly do u know if u have proper knowledge how to play it's and secrets behind music instruments u can actually control the emotions . Ecstacy and mass hysteria are difficult to differentiate even though they differ in subtility of expression. We observe this type of Mass behaviour during Religious congregations and some Sects gatherings. You can check the records such things happen often during not so holy congregations also. It is the function of the brain that can appreciate music at neuro chemical domain leading to an output of balanced emotional outflow. Even an infant brain can appreciate the Lullabies sung by the mother. Instead of saying music has a power to influence brain we can say brain has the capacity to appreciate music. The Subjective inference derived by the brain may differ as the circumstantial inputs change. A Damaru or Kanjira played for a Red Indian gives a different impact from what a Hindu Indian perceives. The Narrative changes the influence. To go into ecstacy in such circumstances you should be overwhelmingly a believer. Being a believer you don't need any logic or profundity to go into a mental state of euphoria and call it ecstacy , bliss and so on. The player knows this weakness of his audience. Most often he tries to appeal to their psychology by his dress and other attitudes including modulation of voice tone. Dopamine release liberates them from inhibitory controls of the mind. This is Akin to Alcohol or psychedelic effects on the Brain albeit it is voluntary. A type of Self hypnosis. We will see such behaviour in many occasions especially the Semi religious and Semi Spiritual congregations.

We are folk musicians and I'm a professional Kanjira player through which I earn my bread. I read the title of the video which says "People crying while sadhguru playing kanjira" and clicked on it with a great expectation... It was spiritually overwhelming when he carefully took the kanjira out of that cloth which is spiritually appropriate with the instrument.... But then he held the kanjira in a completely wrong posture and played it in an odd way after which people started crying in the crowd for a few seconds... The whole thing was quite confusing for me...
