Do not try to change anything. Be yourself. If you have to work on anything, work on seeing things differently. “We don’t have absolute choice to choose our situations, but we have been given the freedom to choose our experience.” -Sadhguru Begin to see things in a new light. See your situation differently. There are no bad things, there are no good things. But thinking makes it so. Stop thinking of the extremes, good and bad, right and wrong. Rather look at yourself in the moment. Stay centered. See yourself as a Divine Being, an Infinite Being, totally free and liberated. Do not feel sorry for yourself because you are in a position and in a situation you don't like. This just holds you there more. Besides you are not your circumstances. Even if you run away from a situation, you will attract some of the circumstances there, elsewhere. Running away is never the answer. Changing how you see yourself and your circumstance, is the answer. Seeing yourself requires knowing and recognising what your possibilites are so that you can actualize them. It's maximising your full potential.

Well said. But I don’t quite get ‘do not try to change anything’ If I see injustice , suffering or pain happening to someone in front of my eyes and I don’t take the effort to change the situation, then it’s no good. Possibly, at first reflect at your thinking deeper for why there is what there and then take action. But do take action. Thoughts?

Sadhguru has changed millions of life. I love that part when he says we are just a heap of memories and impressions. We only suffer our memories. Bad manager of the faculties. At age 50 you haven't learnt, when will u learn??.
@schevalirae2 жыл бұрын
Triza Aurora I have to reply to your comment because I just turned 61 last month and so I think I have a pretty good idea of where you are coming from. At times I've felt incredulous that I hadn't learned some things before now. I thank the Universe that I knew better than to let myself feel discouraged, and I continued to listen, study and explore. I wish for you the inner peace you are seeking. You are not alone. Focus on the NOW. "We only suffer our memories" makes so much sense for me because looking back keeps us in the emotions of the past instead of moving forward. When I catch myself doing that, I gently switch my thoughts to what is happening today, right now, and how can I focus on that. Sometimes easier said than done! Try not to be too hard on yourself. Some people never reach these understandings so I try to stay appreciative of the fact that I am here now. Namaste. ❣️✌️🥀

Sadghuruji has hit the nail on the head in part of his discourse that pleasure is ephemeral unlike suffering. It is the latter that makes a human being wholesome and it is through how one deals with it that a feeling of good factor emanates to the end product that is "Wisdom " in one's aura.

I think the secret is that Sadhguru actually takes the time to look around and see the world and study it patiently at his own pace while society has us trying to rush to the top and don't look back. I'm gonna slow down and experience the world instead of rushing to the end.

If Sadhguru isn't there. Maybe I would give up everything long ago...Sadhguru is my internal growth guide spirit. I'm always mortal but only small worry of my younger kids, but these day I worry less when they started practising their yoga. I see things improve when I join my kids yoga practice at home. Ni really see good changes. Each time we miss the 6am and do at other unplanned time. I try to daily do the 3.20-3.40 and I fe secured compared to the usual 12 minutes or 21 minutes meditations. These days I prefer the 3 minutes meditation which I do many times at different situations. But at tines it goes up to 5-6 minutes and I can't do too long like before when I didn't experienced anything much. Too long meditation. I seems to be like a perfect robot or I'm afraid my appearance or behavior may disturb others. I want to be simple and less noticed. I just wish everyone will have good long life and I don't mind if I have to end my life today as long as the creator will guide my loved ones who are still small.I wish they become meditative and do yoga lifetime as I see well being in children and they are better more conscious and cooperative within themselves and their growth.

I think what he is saying, you will become what you become. If you are based on the physical world (your environment, on others, your desires, ect), then who you are will be based off of this. This attachment will only satisfy you temporarily, therefore, you will seek more to self full-fill since this is what you are based off of. One who is based on them-self regardless of the circumstance or situation, nor personal fulfillment, experiences life as it comes. This type of person can make life as they want or can let it be as it may, but does not desire or need it to go anyway in order to satisfy who they are, rather, they are not what life makes them but who they are in life.

This was man is not always right and he would be the first one to tell you to always question everything. But what he does is focus you on questions about your existence and your purpose in this world that you may not have considered and just in the fact that he forces you to think about these questions and makes you want to answer them, it’s enough to get a lot of folks on to a new journey in life. For this reason, he is making an important contribution to society: He will make you think that he will make you question and he will make you ask and ultimately he will make you understand that there are things that you will probably never ever fully have answers to.

But you will never find clinging for dear life to obstacles and you will never see me dragging old tires, dead wood and ropes around with me.. You'll find them right where I left them. Waiting for someone else to take them on if they wish to do so. The more obstacles you overcome the stronger you get. From my point of view it's a win-win situation. I'm not here to party I'm here to win. And anyways the party seems to follow me everywhere I go so if I wish to distract myself temporarily then that option is always there.

I've found some common ground, especially on the interpretation of the sacred writings and paradise; I am glad I am not "totally" wrong. While it is easy for us to live and let live, it proves more difficult for believers, as the belief takes hold of their personality the old book leads the subject on the same one way street - it devoid one of the ability of thinking for them self.
