I have done this before, but on accident. I was going through really difficult things at the time, and on accident, I discovered meditation. This is almost exactly where it started for me. I was laying on my bed, listening to screaming, and I somehow did this. It was almost exactly how he explained. There is no mistaking it, because yo really understand it when you become it. It's like making the choice to fall asleep instead of dozing off unaware. I felt as though I could have sat in place until I died, and knew I could have. I was laying on my back, and haven't been able to do it in another position. I did the same process he says over, and over, and over, until only my mind was moving. I even managed to consciously allowed my breath to be lost to nature, like my body was alive outside of me. Imagine sleeping wide awake. Thats how it feels. Or like waking up in the morning, but with a clear mind, and not wanting to fall back asleep.
@how_r_you_55 Жыл бұрын
It happened to me when I was in a difficult time as well. I was chain smoking like mad and the smoking made my brain so cloudy I couldn't think of anything. And then suddenly one morning while smoking I just 'shifted' into this state of clarity. My vision cleared up, my mind stilled and I became so extremely aware. Tiredness and physical pain disappeared. I didn't realize at the time what had happened. I only learned 6 months later that that's the stillness, dwelling in the presence of God, the present moment, when the mind chatter, the worries, the fears just shut out.

Stagnation vs Inactivity Stagnation is dying, in many ways. You can be Inactive and still dynamic, by being still (and aware). Stillness is the fuel of activity. The intensity OF LIFE, can't be reached by activity, as it Exhausts you at some point, no matter what activity. Many people become Tense to be Intense. YOGA: Is Intense & Relaxed at the same time Nice exercise at the end to connect to your still awareness :)

Jamie s. I see your words out of love for Sadhguru. You must know that Bharat/India had thousands and thousands of Yogi's like Sadhguru. It is that we are living in his time. He does not need love, he is not a coach, he is not a friend, he is not an inspiration, he is not a problem solver. He is for you should be Dharma. Like your fragrance should tell who your Guru is. If you can realize this, you won't even have any compulsion. If you feel your body feels compelled in doing some activity. Then it means you need to change your food more towards Pranic food types. And do longer sadhanas to clear out your compulsive patterns. Thats all Sadhguru would expect from anyone

summary- dynamism in your physical body is usually inactive and and every activity linked only to the physical body will exhaust. we have to learn to be still and yet dynamic. there is phenomenal dynamism in being still. yoga is about being relaxed and dynamic at the same time. when we bridge the physiological, psychological and the still core, activity and inactivity doesn't differ much. we usually become tense when asked to be intense with impairs judgement. when you are still, you become one w the cosmos and see very little-known difference. your mind and your physical body are exposed to very different conditions. practice : sit straight - back erect with some tension in the spine. eyed open, wide open stare at something. make your breath deep and unrhythmic. then slowly start relaxing your body from the top to bottom without changing posture anf closing eyes. 12-21 minutes

Thank you🙏🏻 for me now .. this is so much deeper than first thought would appreciate. Ha. I see a thru the vail. When I connect my attention to anyone or happing now a days..... It is like a point where you drop all of everything as if you had amnesia. Where the only part of yourself left is the natural seeing beauty and wonder and lightenment at the not you’s absolute beauty and wonder... and I mean just at the tender propensity to appreciate the other in such a way that nothing in the universe could match this call it love other than I. And the other than I... just burst in beauty at the receipt of our connection that way . Ha. Everything and every-way else seams ludicrous. to offend in anyway anyone thing or other is a complete loss of grand possibilities. I mean I actually sense this kind of deep compassion coming to be a common way of being..... Yep thats what all this going on now is also bringing us. I mean look what I just stated here...🙏🏻🌸😃📣

@Prakhar Interestingly, maybe yes & India has been touted as the main venue. Our problem with Covid-19 is that all cases have come from visitors to Australia, so whether the borders will be open to others may depend on how other countries cope. An exception has been made to New Zealanders as they have had similar isolation lockdown policies; however, that was ONLY for one team of football players - which I don't care for anyway? I have never liked rough games.
