There are Christian missionary schools in India who make students recite Christian prayers morning n evening irrespective of any caste, I'm not alone who has been through it.

​@@Balharbor28 Namaskaram You are guiding wrongly. Why do you put your in Christian school. Simple put the children in Govt school if you can't afford to put them in a better Hindu run school which are less in number. The Hindus don't get the permission from the Govt to run the school.

My sons were put in a school founded by a Christian (not church). Later, I found they had to recite their prayers after our national anthem in the morning session. Their sports T shirts had names of Xtian saints. In school annual or other functions, Xtian prayers were sung, even Hindu students were made to hold candles and walk in line to the stage etc. That is when I realised, although Hindu students were in majority, these schools even the ones not managed by church will try to inculcate their traditions in our children.

Once upon a time there was a proposal in madhya pradesh to introduce Surya Namashkar in schools. There was a protest stating it is idol worship. The protesters ignored the fact that without spotting the new moon the fasting month does not come to an end. Can we say Moon Namaskar is not idol worship. Surya namaskar was practiced to get vitamin D.dose.once we manufactured vitamin D tablets and started consuming it surya namaskar became irrelevant

I fully agree, that YOGA is a very good exercise to keep one healthy n active. But that alone is not going to help a person to lead his or her spiritual life. I respect Sath Guru for his wider knowledge, BUT belief he is not a Manifestation of God!

Im nepali and studied in a christain school which sadhguru also visited while he went to nepal..we used to pray in english thats right but it was never so called christain prayer..we used to meditate as well before starting the day
