I love love love belly dancing. It is such a beautiful delicate liberating art form. I simply don't get what there is so much negativity around belly dancing! I mean it is subjective and a few dancers' lack of sophistication to the art form should not stigmatize an art form in general! In most cases belly dancers are female and perform solo or with other ladies with so much fluidity, gentleness and avidity. I just love it. Warm sunny places, deep blue sea, gorgeous belly dance costumes, drumming most delicate and primitive form of expression... dancing on the sand in soothing gentle breeze wafting from the sea...so many lovely sequins and other shimmery embellishment throughout the entire ensembles of the traditional belly dance costumes...make me super nostalgic. 😁💖
