I just discovered Samantha Fish on Utube last few days, and thru' her.. came across Sadie Johnson. Both are so amazing! There's hope for this music genre - keep it alive!

@Kutaah10 жыл бұрын
im sorry, but there is no way she is in the same catergory as clapton and stevie, although she is very good, alot better than me, but those two are guitar gods
@leighwende260610 жыл бұрын
I agree that those 2 are Guitar Gods, but taken her age into account, I still put her in that category, let's see what time brings. BTW she totally runs rings around my guitar playing
@Earthdancer4623410 жыл бұрын
Leigh Wende Sadie is 17 in this video. She played well in this video, but one should watch many of her videos to learn more about Sadie and her playing. She plays blues, jazz, rock, and southern rock. She has become a great guitarist.

Sadie, you're a joy to witness... You have the 'it' factor...trust me, and don't be led to believe you've a need to be self- conscious, simply because you flow so naturally within yourself.....you hear the rich expression and rythmic feel, but what I saw just now says that you get you a couple serious security-style guardian angels to worry over your body language/ facial expression attributes that you'd be advised to acquire if u didn't already have a vessel that runneth over in body, mind, and spirit.....

True musicians play from the heart and the soul, and as someone who is getting older now, but has been playing for over 30 yrs. now, will say Sadie, some musicians will tell you not to play with so much emotion..as you play more professionally, Don't listen to them! Was told by more than one the same thing, yes I sing the notes, make the faces, move all over while I'm playing, and yet have more work available to me now than I have time ;) and no..no links or video, as this is my personal account, not my professional one!

What a doll! I love how she walks that bass string up slapping it like a pro. Sounds great. She went to college, but I don't know what she's doing in 2021. I wonder if she majored in music in college. I wish she'd get back with Sad Sam Blues Jam, but I have no idea if that would still work for all of them: Women need wide open spaces to make big mistake. (Men need even more.)

Where does that guitar come from? Black headstocks was something from the '80's. My Ibanez Roadstar II has that. And around '86 other guitars had that too. But that Fender looks brandspankin new..... Is it a customshop model? As it has the beck nut and the current Fender Logo.... ? Looks amazing and totally you....

By all accepted standards, girls of the age of Sadie and the two Sams (Samantha Fish, and sister Sam Johnson / Harless), should not be able to "Play the Blues" with the skill and authority that they do. But they can, and they do, and the world is a better place for it. Thank you, girls. And Krista Hess too.

Actually, Fender has 25 1/2 inch scale and Gibsons have 24 3/4 inch scale so I would think they would be better for small hands, especially an SG.
