I lost my brother, my protecter and encourager, to suicide 6 months ago. Although he was 18 months younger than I am, he was and is my rock. It's incredibly difficult to adjust to living life with such a huge part of my soul missing. We weren't always so close, but once we grew up enough through various life circumstances, we realized how incredibly important we were in each others life. So with that, I completely agree to what these amazing Robertson siblings are saying. Treat your siblings with care, love, protection, and compassion always, and never take them for granted because you never ever know when a moment with them may be the last. Peace be with you all.

I was just diagnosed with a primary immunodeficiency, so I get really sick really easily, and I have two younger brothers. It has been so amazing to watch them step up and start taking care of me when I'm sick when I have taken care of them for so long (since they're younger). This video rings true to everything that's going on in my life, and I appreciate all of your advice.

Hi Sadie, I just wanted to say how much of an inspiration you are to me this year I am going in to seventh grade and for my summer reading project we had to read a biography or auto-biography so I chose your book Live Original. Right now I'm only on chapter three and I'm so thankful you made a book like this to encourage people and spread word about God. I believe in God so much because he is my savior. When I was 5 my kidneys shut down and I almost had a stroke and if I had that strike I could of died but I didn't as you can tell because I believe that God said it wasn't my time and I could do great things in the world. Then when I was 7 one of my family friends was throwing a 4 by 4 inch puzzle piece like a Throwing star and it got my eye and I had to get 24 stitches in my eye. I almost lost my eye but an amazing family had a child pass and they donated their child's Cornea to me so I could be able to see one day now I'm close to 20/20 vision.Thank you for showing your passion to God

Hey Sadie! I absolutely loved this video. It's super inspirational about how we should be treating our siblings and even our whole family. My question for you is can you make a video (if you can, could you also do it with John Luke please?) on how to treat your parents. I'm going through a lot right now with my mom, and don't get me wrong when I say that. My mom is a beautiful and wonderful woman who loves me to death and I to her. It's just that whenever we talk, it always ends up in an argument because I somehow talk to her with sarcasm or in a attitude filled tone of voice. Sometimes I can see how I talk to her with disrespect in my tone of voice, but most of the time I can't see it and she gets mad at me when I don't even think I did anything wrong! I really want to resolve this situation with her and finally love her and have fun with her like I used to, but I just do not know how. If y'all could help me out that would be Amazing. I am personally an older brother my little sister had a boyfriend and he got mad and had looked like he was about to hit her I quicky punched him in the face and blacked out (I had officially lost it) I was told from my sister I had lost it and had to have people pull me off I don't believe in fighting unless necessary in that point from my position I believed it was necessary. I was later told by my parents that I should have handled the situation different but at that time I had turned on my instincts which told my brain he was an enemy and I promise to protect my family from enemies so he in my mind still got what was coming for him

Being the youngest in my family I was always subject to mocking, arguments, and sometimes physical violence by my family. Especially my brother and cousin. When I was young my uncle had passed away from a tumor in his brain and then a few months later my aunt was found dead in her house by my cousin's teacher after she had brought my cousin home. After that because my two cousins were without parents they had moved in with us. My older cousin and my brother were about the same age so they usually had thought alike. I remember if I had done something wrong I would get hit, usually in the head by my brother. An example of this would be when I accidentally stepped on my brothers new CD case that he had just bought. He left it on the floor and I accidentally stepped on it and as soon as I saw him look over I knew I needed to run away from him to avoid getting hit, so I ran to our living room and hid behind the couch but he ended up finding me and repeatedly hit me on the top of my head. I know I should forgive him and usually I do but he always does something that makes me upset with him again. He is very selfish, very aggressive, very angry, and just all around a very unpleasant person to be around. By now I have actually forgotten what the point was in commenting about this. I just wish my brother would be there for me like yours seems to be there for you. I'm just tired of the constant arguing, fighting, selfishness, and anger that I have to cope with because of my siblings.

Wow I can relate perfectly to you both... Me being the older brother, my sister and I would fight consistently, like non stop. It wasn't till middle school that my sister and I had a stronger relationship. There would be girls harassing me and my sister would have my back and I would do the same for her, now both of us are adults and I pay very close attention to who's trying to date my sister. I make sure I let them know I got a glock and will use it if need be! He must know God because if he loves God deeply, he will truly love my sister.

It all comes down to that mutual respect and reciprocation of love. I believe, to be so concerned for others over our own interests creates the longevity in a relationship that comes through Christ. Some scriptures may be hard for us to accept but through Christ we can know and understand what they mean. Scripture ought not be uncomfortable or unsettling. Romans 12:2 instructs us not to be conformed to the patterns of the world but be transformed by the renewing of our mind (through Christ) to understand Gods will. The more we read, the more certain parts of scripture make sense. It's a blessed journey to seek the deep things of God as divined through his Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:1-16). There is always two parts to make that perfect whole that God desires for us in the union of man and woman or really any relationship. Colossians 3:18-25 "18 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. 20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. 21 Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged. 22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. 23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. 25 Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism."
