Heavy duty movie, it is like franco zeffirelli 's movie Romeo and Juliet 1968? Year? This movie tore me up, it was once on Netflix. I saw it here free, but no eng. Subtitles, it was worth it, but scenes cut out ..... what incredible acting!!! An ending no one could forget.did he break his foot in real life? This is a remake of Tamil movie Moondram pirai with the same lead pair. And Kamal got the National award for the Best actor for the same .It was remade in Hindi after that. Sridevi has already done several movies in Tamil prior to Moondram pirai. Could have considered both for the award. Sad she missed it.
