That looks like a lot of fun. How long from start to final check point in time do you get to ride for? The changing ground type is cool. Thanks for the video.

This was a longer than normal race trail. It was 14 miles. Normally its 10-12 miles. My lap times were 36-38 min. The total race is how ever many laps you can do in 2 hours

It’s unfortunate that that HS#2,3 at Bartow have been an absolute joke….95% open field sections with virtually zero technical/single track sections… your skill set will not improve riding these flat track “courses”. .. The hosting clubs should at least try and make their courses interesting and challenging because their future depends on it : boring, flat, open field courses and the majority is sugar sand, will spell doom for the club because entry numbers will decline killing the club and ultimately Momma FTR…….we racers pray that HS#4 at Mondon Hill first week in January will live up to the past excellent courses….If you are up to a serious test of your skills and riding ability, by all means attend HS#4…..and rumor has it that that the Daytona race (HS#7) is 90% single track through dense wooded areas (anyone remember "Palmetto Hell?) with minimal open field sections.

@@thumbgas888 that is so true…. As property for FTR is disappearing at an alarming rate the long term future of FTR is looking very bleak. In the interest of making the most of what the clubs have, especially the sugar sand open field races in south Florida, the clubs should consider a “hard” enduro section to maintain interest…. Years ago i attended a race in Myakka City named “ The Buffalo Stampede” and the hosting club set up a “hard” enduro section that was incredible for the racers….Fortunately Mondon Hill has always been , for as long as I have been racing @8 years, the Super Bowl of FTR…and usually draws the largest number of entries , with Daytona Dirt Riders being a close second….why? … because both feature varied terrain, excellent true single track racing and with minimal open field sections and if either falls victim to a heavy rain…oh lord does the racing get “interesting” !……but Mondon Hill has a far better spectator section and if memory serves me, Daytona Dirt Riders lease their property for the entire year from the owners, meaning they host the Alligator Enduro as well as having year round riding privileges for their members which is a tremendous blessing, not sure if any other FTR club has such an arrangement….keep up the great work Mondon Hill crew !

@Leon Phelps 100% FTR is fading for sure, slowly but surely and its sad!!,we definitely need more volunteers to join clubs and help prepare these courses as its hard work and time consuming. I am in Nature Coast and Suncoast clubs, these are for Mondon Hill, Dade City and Croom enduro races, small clubs a lot of work all the other clubs are also suffering of men power, but we do what we can for sure!, Hope to see you in Jan@ Mondon Hill 👊🏾😎

@@thumbgas888 I make Mondon Hill the absolute go to race every year (barring injuries) due to the fact that I have never been disappointed with the course, it’s terrain and layout..As for the others?… I’ll watch their pre race “preview “ course videos…. If the majority of the course is not single track and is comprised of boring, zero challenge open field sections, I will not waste my time, money or equipment …..it has reached a point where I will make a conscious effort to partake in out of state enduro and NPEG events namely the Cajun Classic in Forest Hills Louisiana .. an 18 hour drive…. But worth every painful second in a truck with a bunch of AA knuckleheads… As for lack of crew/manpower , I believe that is an issue that most clubs face. you’ll,have a core group of members that provide the majority of the labor in course layout, prep and clean up…. The rest, namely the club members that are freeloaders and the quad racers are no where to be seen after destroying the owners property….don’t get me started on the absolute worthlessness of the Quads vs the virtually nonexistent benefit they provide…

I'm honestly grateful for any property and trail we get to race and ride on. I like fast and open too. I just like riding
