Their story was so painful and tragic because jiyeong's character was so unexpected. Everyone was just thinking about how to survive and we all knew that most of the main cast won't make it out alive at some point but who would've predicted that saebyeok would find someone she would trust and resonate with and vice versa. They spent the least time together compared to the other pairings and yet jiyeong willingly sacrificed her life so that saebyeok can move onto the next round.

They were the focus for me, since they first spoke to each other. I was eager to get more interaction between them in every episode and i was quite happy when they teamed up to play. Episode six had the game with the worst rules ever, making people play against their dearest one in there. I'll never forgive whoever decided to create those scenes (Ali's death was so painful, but the only man just disappointed me at the end). In my heart they are in Jeju island, drinking mojito, forever.
