Yes, I was surprised. The only time they use their special is when your life is yellow or lower. It's random what you get, but the boosts tend to be just what I needed, and I like that.

Kenshin's floating stun-bomb special is fantastic for this stage, as it causes a stagger/stun with every contact.

Wow your bodyguard was really good with giving you those power-ups! 5 second Musou to finish Yoshihisa and Attack x2 for Yoshihiro!
