I remember this like it was yesterday.....I was six years old then. I vividly remember my uncle driving us to a spectator stage in his 405 Peugeot and we overtook one of the 206 Peugeots at Suswa that had mechanical difficulties. Can't wait for this year

agreed. Sadly the new one will follow other rallies formats. I mean, i prefer the old one, but it's hella expensive for the teams. They had to make special modifications, bring in more parts, rent spotter helicopter, etc.

Safari should be treated akin to indy 500 or Daytona 500 or better yet Le mans in terms of prize money and prestige, cuz the amount of effort, dangers, and sweat put into this rally trumps any other motorsport imo. It should be part of the quadruple crown: Le mans, indy 500, monaco, and safari rally
